Was introduced to this spot by a coworker of mine and it’s now become our regular go-to. This is a great spot for playing anything - boardgames, warhammer, MTG, infinity, D&D, etc. They have huge tables (and a good number of them) and it’s only $5/person for an all day play pass. We frequent this spot every Tuesday to play random boardgames and there’s usually a good number of people playing commander MTG and some folks playing infinity. Everyone’s very welcoming, so there’s something here for everyone. I still venture out to Gator Games for their huge boardgames selection, but Heretic is the spot to go to for general playtime and the environment is top notch. The associate, Dale, is awesome, welcoming, and knowledgeable (he’s been my D&D resource). Cannot recommend this place enough!!

Good games shop. Decent selection of board games, decent MTG sealed selection plus a few binders of singles. Tons of war gaming stuff too but I can’t evaluate that. Owners are good people.

This has been a truly wonderful experience. I have been to other game stores and they did not feel as bright, clean, open, and friendly as this one. The staff truly understood and took their time to explain all and any questions I had about mainstream games like Magic or Attack Wing; even non-mainstream games like Star Realms and Eldritch's Horror. I would definitely recommend this place to a friend!

This is a great local game store, very large selection of board games and other table top games. The prices are about what you expect, sometimes being comparable or even better than online websites (e.g. Amazon). Nothing like taking home a game on the same day. They also have events almost every day. They seem to have some Magic the Gathering singles, haven't fully explored what they have.

Awesome bunch of folks. Very knowledgable about their games and willing to be helpful. Shopping at their store is always an enjoyable experience, they do a great job at making you feel welcome. Lots of play space for role playing, war gaming or board gaming. Clean well lit environment and within easy walking distance of food and Starbucks. Great location. Hope these guys are around in business for a long time. The mid peninsula needs a store like theirs, far better than that crocodile game store (if you're a Bay Area gamer you'll know which store I speak of) Heretic and Endgame are my two go to game stores!

People are friendly and they have a wide variety of table-top games in the store you can buy. You can try the board games too, for free! Some of the people will even play with you if need be (well they played with us anyways). There's a weekly table-top RPG (like D&D and I heard Star Trek too) and you can join them if you're really into that. It's a really awesome place.

Great experience. Excellent selection, had the miniature paints I was looking for. Spoke with the owner, Scott, who was kind, talented, and super knowledgeable. Looking forward to coming back for games!

Hidden gem of gaming in San Bruno! Owners are very nice and helpful. The play area is huge and they have all the staples or 40k as well as tons of new releases.

One of the best game shops around the Bay Area!!! Not only do they provide a space for MtG tournaments and events, but also D&D, minature painting, boardgames, and chilling around!! The owners are the most friendly shopkeepers ever, and it's the cozy atmosphere they provide that attracts many awesome patrons!!

The staff is friendly and welcoming. This has become my go-to location for all things tabletop gaming related. If they don't have what you're looking for in stock they're more than willing to order it for you; they'll even call you when your item arrives. Their Facebook page has a list of all of their events if you're ever looking to play with others.

Great gaming store! Staff is very knowledgeable, welcoming, and friendly. Plenty of play space as well as a great selection of all kinds of gaming products. A big parking lot diagonally behind the store makes parking easy. I would highly recommend Heretic Games!

Great selections for RPG and board game fans. Multiple tables setup for play within the shop. Well organized with friendly staff and they even have a rewards program.

Kind staff. They offer tips on painting. Employees are usually having discussions about games or painting figures so you know it's all for the love of the hobby. Best kind of place to get your materials.

Fantastic store and very helpful staff that are always willing to humor my inane questions about their stock and general gaming gossip. Good selection of GW, painting supplies, and board games. I highly recommend!
