A fine small cafe, perfect for an early morning breakfast or lunch with friends. My daughter and I had a relaxed meal here in a sunny window table. I enjoyed a Cubano sandwich on baguette, a bit spicy but delicious. Plenty of choices for food and drinks. Very pleasant young woman at the counter. Clean restroom.

This bakeshop is outstanding! The food is delicious and the GF options are the best around (the house-made focaccia is unbelievable — seriously, you won’t believe it’s GF) and they are celiac-friendly. The crew are very friendly and helpful, and the service is great. I just had a breakfast sandwich and it’s not “ready-made” — they made it right then. Freeport needs more places like The Bakeshop! Give it a try — I’ll be surprised if you don’t keep coming back.

This place is an absolute gem. I had the best breakfast sandwich of my life and their GF blueberry scones are amazing according to my partner. Very cute spot, delicious food. We will be coming back!

I finally decided to try it out for breakfast, glad I did. I went 3 days in a row, will go back again. My favorite is the egg & cheddar on asiago bagel. Their selection of gluten-free items is excellent. They have a very nice seating area inside.

Adorable new bake shop in the heart of Freeport. Tons of gluten free options! We enjoyed a warmed cinnamon roll in store and brought some apple cake to a dinner party. Both were spot on.

Oh and we brought home a caption crunch rice crispy we forgot about. It was tasty even after a few days oh forgetting about it.

Stopped here after visiting L.L. Bean and was pleasantly surprised! Really cute atmosphere inside and out, and the crispy eggplant sandwich hit the spot. Employees were all super friendly and fast.

We almost didn't come here for lunch, but I'm definitely glad we did. Everyone liked their sandwiches, but I was surprised when they brought out my sandwich on gluten-free focaccia! I was expecting your typical name-brand GF loaf type bread. But they actually make GF focaccia in house. I ordered it with the turkey club. Man was it good. The bakery had a ton of GF baked goods too. The GF chocolate chip cookie was great. Definitely give them a visit if you stop by LL Bean as they are right next door. Great place to eat if you are GF or not.

Great sandwiches! Just be prepared for a smaller sandwich for the cost. Think a half sandwich from Panera (size wise). Wish it came with a pickle or chips. You can get chips or a bowl of soup to go with it for extra money, obvi. Just at $12 a sandwich, I wish it was bigger or had a side included. Very nice staff and great spot to work on the computer or just hang out.

Delicious breakfast sandwich. I wouldn't normally choose an asiago bagel, but that's what they had and I was not upset.

Delicious breakfast sandwich! Everything about it was impressive: the flaky croissant, cheddar cheese, excellent quality bacon, and farm-fresh eggs cooked perfectly. Would definitely go again for breakfast.

Great new cafe with pastries & sandwiches that is open late. They also have a tapas menu certain days & alcohol. We had iced coffee, PB cookie, Haddock tacos & Mushroom Tart. All were so delicious!

This place is amazing. We visited Freeport in November, 2023, and our Inn Keeper at Candlebay Inn recommended it. We visited two or three times during our short visit. Their gluten-free offerings were so delicious! So delicious in fact that we bought two bags of flour and shipped them home to Texas. The people working at this wonderful gem were also incredibly nice.

Stopped in here today while visiting Freeport. So good!! I mean, really good!! Beautiful place and the woman who helped us was amazing. So many good gluten free options too. Will definitely be back!

I love all the gluten free options! They offer breakfast sandwiches and bagles, as well as lunch and take out (in addition to many baked sweets). The crispy eggplant sandwich was a refeshing change of pace. We walked over from shopping at LL Bean but there is parking on the street. There is beer and wine available but we opted for soda.

Absolutely love this place. I drive to Freeport just for their great sandwiches and baked goods. Everything is fresh and delicious. Staff is great too. My husband loves the gyro sandwich and I am in love with their eggplant sandwich. This has become our go to spot in Freeport.

best whoopie pies i’ve ever had!!! you can truly taste the chocolate- and the filling is outstanding. highly recommend to anyone if you see them when you stop in.

Love this place. Their breakfast and lunch sandwiches are always really fresh, and their baked goods are awesome. The espresso martinis are very good too!

Everything I have tried here is DELICIOUS! Fresh ingredients, amazing flavors and such kind staff. The atmosphere is homey, comfortable and inviting as well. 10/10 would recommend!!

An excellent stop if you have a gluten restrictions. They have a whole case of gluten free baked goods (that are actually good). They have focaccia that is gluten free making the sandwich options accessible, as well as salads. Cute, bright cafe vibes with an outdoor seating option as well.

My favorite place to stop for lunch or a treat in Freeport! The baked goods are so delicious, and I love the sandwiches and soup too. The staff are friendly, and the atmosphere is warm and comfortable.
