Dragon's Lair

Welcoming staff. Plentiful stock of Wahmmer 40k and Pokémon. All the major miniature paint brands. Easy on and off from Rt 5 in Wallingford. I play most weekends on one of the many gaming tables. 10 out of 10 will be back!! When LETICIA the Store Pup is in give her a pet!!

I have been to several game stores around Connecticut and this is definitely my favorite. I mostly come here to buy paints for minis and this is the only store I have found so far that carries such a wide variety of paints from different manufactures. The staff are always friendly and helpful and the paint tastes amazing.

Great selections for MTG singles and mini paints. Has a large inventory of Warhammer models. The owner is also knowledgeable and informative about the hobbies in his shop.

This shop NEVER lets me down!! Just got a booster box and I’m so excited to build my deck!! (Also love the cutie doggie!!)

Great people and great variety. I would 100 percent recommend coming to the store. Best card store I’ve been too hands down in CT and top 3 I’ve been to in the entire east coast.

Dragons Lair is an amazing TCG & Tabletop store. The employees and owner, Steve, are amazing. They make you feel welcome and are extremely helpful. Their pricing is awesome too! I try to play there whenever I can.

Many cards were seasoned, which improved the taste. Don't ask me what "seasoned" means.

The Dragon’s Lair has become my play group’s early Saturday morning spot for MTG commander. What I like most about this LGS is the friendly and laid back managers and associates, and their support for all age groups and table-top hobbies. The store and customer amenities are kept well stocked and clean.

Great place for cards and trading, all of them in great quality and not too crunchy, love to snack on them w my friends as we play. 11/10 would eat here again

Great shop and gaming facility. Really nice. They didn't carry a product I wanted and referred me to a local place that did. Class act.

My wife and I stopped here on our way home from NY. We were absolutely blown away by the environment. We were very happy with the selection in the shop, and also the service provided was unmatched. The staff was very friendly and attentive to everyone, and even the other customers were friendly and helpful. It seems like they foster an excellent community and should be very proud for what they've built. We didn't even realize we were there for a little while after they were supposed to close because we were talking to them for so long. No pressure to leave the store, no pressure to spend more money, just amazing service, amazing people, and a great place. This shop is almost an hour away from where we live, and we have already decided it is now the LGS we will be coming to when we need cards or accessories. It's worth the commute.

The Dragon's Lair is my favorite local spot, I'm there every week and often more than once a week. The owner Steve and everyone on his staff are awesome, welcoming and extremely knowledgeable (seriously, it would be intimidating if they weren't all so nice). In addition to regularly occurring MTG drafts and tournaments, they run several weekly tabletop games (both RPG & miniatures), and they also have a library of modern board games for rental! A great place for families as well, the language (and the players) are very clean. A real gem worth exploring if you haven't already!
