Good place to take your used games, consoles, gaming accessories, pokemon cards, they even buy phones and tablets. I highly recommend you stop in today and reserve the latest upcoming games, or buy that one you remember playing when you were a kid. The staff always greets me everytime I would walk through the door. Good staff there.

Up until 3 days ago, i have not been in a games et cetera in 2-3 years because the one in Dubuque Iowa is rude and treats people like an inconvenience. This one, on the other hand, was nice. They made you feel welcome and that they were generally glad to see you and help. I will be returning to this store in the future.

Great selection of old school video games in all the old formats. You really have to just get lucky, but if you do it can be amazing.

Better than GameStop by far. All the guys that work there are friendly and professional. It's a clean store, a little cramped, especially when looking behind the check-out desk, but in a good way because there's more than video games there, as the name implies.
Best of all, they offer better rates on trade-ins, without having to have a special membership (again, looking at you GameStop).

Great place to sell games and buy games. Currently until the 7th of July majority of movies on DVD disc are only fifty cents. I'd say take the opportunity while you can. I know I did 10 movies later.

Me & my husband have been coming to this store for 4-5+ years & always have had decent service. They provide great merch for every time of gamer, geek and gaming need. Consoles, toys, games, gift cards and more. The service here is warm/friendly & always a pleasing visit.

amazing store! the workers are very friendly and willing to help with whatever you need. on my last trip in particular, I bought the alvin and the chipmunks game for the wii, and the cashier said I had a good taste in games. thanks video games etc

first time coming here. the shop's staff is very friendly and listens to customers' opinions. The best place I have ever known. It's a pity that I forgot to ask the name of the friendly staff. Will be back in the next day.

Video Games Etc. has always been my personal choice for all my retro gaming needs and I quickly came to know many of the employees at the store by name. The people who work here are very friendly and helpful, making me feel welcome as soon as I arrive! I’m happy to say that they always treat their customers with the respect and kindness they deserve, a quality that is sadly hard to find among most businesses these days. You’ll never have to worry about product pushing from them either, a major pet peeve of mine that causes me avoid other video game retailers which will remain unnamed. Unlike those other stores, the employees at Video Games Etc. won’t pester you about subscriptions or memberships while you’re at the check out. You can get in and get out in under five minutes (if you know what you’re looking for) without any hassle whatsoever! Finally, Video Games Etc. has some of the best prices on the market, especially for old retro games, which is one of the main reasons I shop there so often. I couldn’t tell you how many times I’ve had my eye on a classic game but was unable to play it because of the ludicrously high prices online, only to later buy it for a fraction of the cost at Video Games Etc. More often than not when I ask for something, they have a cheap copy of whatever it is in stock that’s well within my price range! There’s nothing more satisfying than scoring a copy of an old game for a great price! Their prices are so low that sometimes I can’t help but wonder how it’s even possible they can afford to stay in business! What more can I say? If you’re a fan of old school games like I am, then it’s a no-brainer that you should be shopping at Video Games Etc!

We visit quite often and the selection is always great. If for whatever reason you are not happy with a game or any purchase they offer a return for either cash or credit. You can also call ahead of time to check if they have what you are looking for and they will hold it for you taking it off the shelf for you. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff.

East side location from staff was friendly and helpful for needs upon purchases

A coworker/friend brought me here and I'm glad he did. Great business model as they sell consoles you otherwise would need to buy online. Think DKOldies but it's a walk in store. I bought a 1st Gen PS4 here that is in surprisingly good condition. The only thing "wrong" with it is the disc ejection is slow/weak but works just fine otherwise. I bought said PS4 for around $250 so I am overall very pleased. Tired of GameStop's nonsense? These guys got you covered!

We stop in every so often to check the card singles. The staff is always really nice and helpful in letting us go through the different binders to look at the various cards in order to make sure we get the ones we want. They also have a great selection of video games and video game accessories.

This store has the friendliest, most helpful and courteous staff around! Great selection of new and used games. Best selection in the area for PS3 and Wii games, and it's not even close. Prices are also VERY fair. I highly recommend this business!

Of these VGE stores I have been to this has the best selection of DS and GBA games I have seen since I was last there.

These guys are awesome! Everything is fairly priced, so you wont go in getting something super cheap, but the customer service is impeccable. Ive been shopping here for years and ive only had one issue, which they took care of immediately. They have cemented a customer for life!

Ive been going here for the last few years. They always have a great selection of new and used games, movies, consoles, etc. They have also done a great job of expanding to gadgets, trading cards, and other collectable. I've rarely not found what I'm looking for.

Staff has always been polite and helpful. Highly recommend this place!
