Book Bag

Moved to Ocean Springs from HTX recently and I have been searching for a used books store because I miss Half Price Books desperately. Found my go-to used bookstore!! Owner and staff were amazing! Will definitely be coming back. 100% was worth the voyage! 💖

What a wonderful little treasure to find. I am an avid reader. The owner is a lovely woman who makes you feel welcome as soon as you walk through the door and is very happy to help you find any book that you need. You can even turn in some of your older books to get credit for new books that you want to read.

The owner is one of the loveliest people I have ever met.... She has tons of used books to choose from.... Stop by and check it out I promise you'll love it.... Note:::: This is a used bookstore. It's the kind of store where you can trade old books for other used books you haven't read yet. She has everything from fantasy to Romance including mystery..... It's fabulous 😍😍😍

Amazing selection, all very fairly priced. They also sell DVD's. The owner is very kind and knowledgeable. Best book store my wife and I have ever been to.

The owner is a welcoming, gracious book lover. She knows every inch of her shelves and many, many of the authors she sells. It's hard to decide which is better - shopping the shelves or conversing with the shopkeeper. 📖

I've found countless precious gifts for VERY affordable prices! On my last visit, I picked up a whole box of children's books for my nieces. Antiques, sci-fi, classics, romance, inspirational, history, etc - she has it all!

This place was amazing! The selection was great, prices were good and the owner is incredibly knowledgeable on various books and authors. You can tell she loves books and this paired with the warm atmosphere makes it an excellent place to get books and spend some time!

I had a great visit to The Book Bag today! The owner was knowledgeable and friendly, the books were affordable (there’s even grab bags!), and I believe that there’s something for everyone there- it’s well stocked. You can also trade in books for store credit within the same genre! 10/10 would recommend.

I have been going to the book bag since 04 and the owner (Angela) has always been helpful. Stopped going for years and when I walked back in She knew who I was. Made me feel good on the inside. So I will always buy my books from her for as long as she is open. Thanks again Book Bag for giving me a place to escape to a vast world of possibility.

I was very pleased to find several of the types of books I was looking for. I'll definitely be going back with hopes to find more books that are out of print. The place is much bigger than it looks, and has something for absolutely everyone.
