Roseadela's shop and cafe

I’ve been enjoying time at Roseadela’s most days this month, while doing an art and crafts booth. It’s so awesome here!! Everything I’ve had to eat or drink here has been phenomenal. Rose’s training with Michelin star chefs and restaurants really shows. One of my favorite things to do is to get a sandwich, a tea, and a truffle or two, and slowly savor them over the afternoon. I can’t say enough. All of us locals know: Roseadela’s is a hidden gem!!

A gem of a place. Menu and options are extensive and all made on location. We had sandwiches and soups all very tasty. The sweet options looked sublime and were so disappointed we didn't have the time to try them also. In some cities places like this are hard to come by and this one is a fantastic place. Highly recommend this over the usual Starbucks or chain equivalent offering.

It was so beautifully decorated inside! The staff was so nice here! The food was so good! I had the orange blossom scones and breakfast cookies with some refreshing tea! Yummy!

They opened only two months ago and I am so happy they did! Modern, very tasteful, clean, great athmosphere! The food is simply AMAZING! We tried BLT sandwiches, croissants and homemade stawberry lemonade. I also purchased a hot milk chocolate tin and a rose petals preserve to take home. Can't wait to try it!

Everything is handmade by the owner, Roseadela! She is on one of the pictures with a great young man, who gave us the best service. I will be back and highly recommend to visit it, if you happen to be in Salem!

UPDATE: I tried the hot chocolate that I bought in a tin and made by the owner. SO DELICIOUS! 😱 Very high quality!!

Delightful cafe with one of the best fog drinks Salem Fog (opinion of the spouse), similar to the Seattle Fog version in Ghost Alley. The breakfast sandwich was delicious, warm, and toasty.

Stopped in for a quick bite to eat. Loved the pumpkin bread pudding and my Salem Fog. Perfect filler to get me through to dinner time.

We also caught a glimpse of Rose making sure her employee ate.

Great food + caring owner = amazing experience.

My friend and I went here on a whim during a day trip to Salem and wow I wish we were staying longer just so we could try more of their foods! I am a huge nutter butter fan, so getting to try a homemade one with a soft, peanut butter cookie shell and the most delicious, creamy peanut butter filling was a dream. It really is that good. I also had a bottle of their rosemary lemonade, which was tangy and so, so good. If you're in Salem, definitely go to Roseadela's because you will not be disappointed!

A hidden gem in Salem, quaint, good service and excellent food! Would recommend to anyone who comes to the area! Rose, who I assume is the owner, is absolutely amazing and treats you like she does all her regulars!

What a great addition to downtown Salem. Lots of fab baked goods, homemade chocolates, good basic sammie menu. Also food gifts - seasoned salts, flavored vinegars. Nice selection.

Roseadela's has the best vanilla lattes in town! Friendly and attentive staff. I'm there at least once a week for my latte fix. It's hard not to get a sweet treat each time I'm in. They're great for a quick sandwich on the go. I own a gift shop in town and send people down all the time.

Absolutely delicious apple cider! Unexpectedly so good. My kids and I loved it! They did not serve it piping hot, which means our tongues did not get burned! I’m going back tomorrow, that’s how good the cider was.

Popped in for a quick bite and was pleasantly surprised. The price, the service and the quality - all there in abundance. Simple breakfast sandwich alone was absolutely delicious. Coffee left no room for complaints. Great job guys.

came in here just to look around today and left with a glitter lollipop, rose sugar, and a perfect sandwich (ham, cheese, Dijon mustard, lettuce, etc) on a baguette!! it was so delicious and definitely didn't skimp on the shaved ham :) this started my boyfriends morning off right and same with mine so we will definitely be back :)

The mall is completely dead on a Wednesday afternoon, but the coffee shop is a nice bright spot. Our barista did a great job and was very nice and polite. It's a cool quirky place that makes good coffee. 10/10.

Cute cafe in downtown Salem offering sweets and sandwiches. Everything I've tried has been fresh and tasty! The also carry Pure Pastry sweets which are excellent!

I love Roseadela's! I have been on several occasions and have even brought my friends and family. The coffee is amazing and any of the treats I have had have been delicious from the chocolate covered cherries, to the lavender cookies, to the breakfast sandwiches. Did I mention the coffee drinks? I am fussy, but I have not been disappointed. Great spot to meet a friend or friends for a coffee. The owner and her daughter are great people and I highly recommend you go check this place out.

I have just started coming here, and It has quickly become my favorite place to get coffee and treats. The staff are extremely friendly, helpful, and quick. The food is always fresh, and the wide variety of baked goods are hard to resist. My coffee is always delicious, and a good price for the quality. When I come here during walks with my dog, he is always offered a treat and given all the love. I have started to come here without the pup to get work done and the atmosphere is very calming and enjoyable- the wifi is also very fast! I cannot recommend this place enough.

Come for the coffee and light bites - stay for the syrups and other handmade items. I’ve been here twice and I have to stock up on the syrups for seltzers, mixed drinks, etc. They are so delicious and have been a crowd pleaser

This has become my go to coffee spot when I commute to the office! The staff is friendly and quick right at 7am. The drip coffee is consistently good; I prefer the ice coffee in the summer. They have a large selection of pastries and my kids like to stop for breakfast sandwiches.

A shout out to the mother/daughter duo that are Salem locals and put everything into this place! Also, not to be missed, are the delicious syrups that you can purchase to ad to your tea, coffee, pancakes, ice cream…etc.

I don't review places often so apologies if this is a bit wordy. I genuinely love this place. For multiple reasons, (one of which is the music is quiet and when the dining area is quiet, if you pay attention, you can hear the what staff says to each other) and it was SUPER entertaining hearing these two employees sing sea shanties, make references to shows and memes and just overall have a good time AT WORK NO LESS! Service was awesome they made my drink while I was still ordering other things so I got it right after I paid for it! It was just quick and easy and it just added to my day.
Atmosphere was great for me because the staff were genuinely happy even behind the scene! I dunno, good morale is great and there's nothing more infectious than a big ol' smile.
And the food... I got myself a tuna melt, a brownie, and an iced Salem fog. The tuna melt was amazing and hit all the taste buds right, the brownie was super moist and fresh, and the "Salem fog" (their signature drink) was just super refreshing.
Oh and their chocolate truffles are great! I had the raspberry one and got 4 more before I left! 1 for me and 3 for my family to try at home!
Needless to say, I will come again and I'll likely be getting the same things again. To reiterate, my recommendations are:
- Tuna melt
- Salem Fog
- (someone's name I forgot what it was)'s brownie
- Raspberry truffle
