Really neat trail options, the best being the Blue trail by the cemetery! You can take a jog to the Green trail & end at the lodge. Lots of interesting flora & fauna. Some “boardwalks”

Parking in at least three different areas/access points. I walked the White, Yellow, and a portion of the Red trail and found them very well marked and maintained; including signs with names of the trails and even some of the wooden boardwalks were flagged. Plenty of raised wood plank boardwalks for the marshy areas during the wetter seasons. Good variety of ecosystems to walk through.

Walked the full white (Wright) and red/purple trail down to the picnic table at the creek through the cypress swamp. While I had hoped for more birds, we saw ducks, an armadillo, and two snakes (early December). We found the trail marked well enough, but it helps to have a photo of the trails with you, or use Traillink. Walking the planks in the wet areas is enjoyable - they use 3-planks across in the really wet areas, so you don't have to have super balance.

Beautiful trail systems. Sweet to be able to access the cemetery, boardwalks, check out wetlands, etc. Very buggy in the summer, so be warned.

A surprisingly large expanse of land, free from development so far, home to bison, horses, alligators, turkeys, migrating sand hill cranes and other birds, and some of the most massive live oaks in the state. There is a lot of history to see and learn. The Visitors Center is top notch. The hikes are delightful, though most (all?) do not allow dogs, perhaps because of the bison herd. The campground is clean with a great bathroom with hot showers. The night sky is fabulous, though I-75 can be heard in the background

Awesome ride to the depot in Gainesville, where riders are treated to a nice park with a fountain.

One of my favorite wooded parks and just on the edge of town! I go here 3 days a week to walk my dog. We meet the nicest people out here too.

Bring your bike and enjoy the paved trail. Bring your dog and walk through the woods. Both types of trails.

Nice trails that are on the rugged side for FL. Expect some muddy areas.

Ride the Hawthorne Trail almost every week. Absolutely love it! It seems I see something different almost every time, it never gets old.

Ok but too many skeeters for me. I grew up in the woods in the south and it was never like this, I mean it's like you were the main dish at an all you can eat smorgasbord!!!
