Good mellow coffee, no bitterness. Had a smooth and creamy Cortado, my favorite drink. Staff was friendly and didn’t wait very long. It’s worth checking out.

Good coffee, good music, friendly service. They got wifi if you want to get some work done while enjoying your coffee.

I hosted a work coffee appointment here with 5 and there was plenty of room when I arrived at 9:30 am. They started to get busy by 10:30, but they had plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. My toast and honey latte were incredible and you’re steps from the very busy broadway. Highly recommend!

Loved the coffee here! I'd highly recommend the Cuban. Staff was awesome and super friendly. The interior was also extremely cozy.

Enjoy drinking coffee for a cause? Humphreys coffee is your place. Located near First Baptist Church in downtown Nashville the shop was founded to offer inner city kids an outlet by providing job opportunities and teaching discipline through working in the shop, brewing coffee, and making candles. Not to mention, the food and coffee was tasty! Got a couple toast options to share for breakfast and the French toast latte with oak milk was delightful!

I really enjoyed the latte. The place is nice and quite, big windows that provide natural light and a great city view, that make it nice to finish some work.

Great cappuccino, really interesting and good cold brew with blueberry foam (sounds crazy but somehow it works). Really tasty savory toast.

Was visiting from out of town with my husband. Delicious lattes and small breakfast eats! Try the French toast latte iced with almond milk, you won’t regret it!

Spent an hour or so at this location. Had a conversation with a very friendly new friend. They helped me open my mind a little in a relaxed environment made for such discussions.

I met a large assortment of interesting people doing things and sharing their experience differently in harmony at the same place. I am learning how to interact with others in such locations under similar conditions to have difficult or easy conversations.

Great location, plenty of seating, I used the water and wifi so unsure just expect broadway prices.

I love this freaking organization ! great coffee, great people, & they do great work for the community in South Nashville. I had the “YEEHAW SLUSHIE” from their Broadway location & it was BOMB! Amazing toast! 🍞

The food was good and the service was very nice, giving us tips on the best places to go in nashville. There was good food and it’d be an excellent place to get work done.

Great coffee and friendly, helpful staff. For any visiting Australians they do a fantastic flat white. It was quiet on both (week day) mornings and would be a great spot to sit down and enjoy your fantastic coffee

I visited this coffee shop twice on a recent visit to Nashville and found it to be an awesome place to stop for a coffee. Had multiple drinks here, including a pour over and latte, and I was very impressed with the taste and quality of each drink. As an added bonus, it’s a business on mission and is finding ways to serve its community while providing an excellent product. Would highly recommend making a stop by Humphreys if you’re an in-town resident or a visitor!

This is first of all a great place to get good coffee. My preference is light roast, third wave, fancy schmancy, artisan, whatever you want to call it, and they have lots of options for me. I particularly enjoy the single origin pour overs but there espresso shots are smashingly delicious. The baristas, though young looking, are very knowledgeable and give quality feedback about their offerings.

On the downside, which now that Nashville is so grown up should be the norm and not a downside anymore, parking is not easy to find nor cheap. Luckily my work takes me downtown from time to time and I walk the extra block or two to get there. They offer a small selection of delicious pastries, and a slightly smaller selection of reasonably tasty and reasonably priced snack size food options.

A bonus is their community-based mission and focus which shines through in the positive attitudes of the employees. I recommend that you go out of your way to get here.
