We got a great price on white oak engineered floors. The price was not high and they kindly fit us into their schedule even though they are busy. We feel taken care of. Best part is the customer service. It's been easy to get new floors! Thank you, Steve!

Everything about my experience with Steve and his crew was extremely positive from my initial visit in early November to the installation of new carpeting 10 days ago. Steve's quote was the least expensive out of the 7 Rockville area carpeting stores I visited. Combine that with his excellent communication and the expert installation by his crew and you have the perfect store to go to for your carpeting needs!

Our family room had a very uneven floor due to a previous renovation. It wasn't too noticeable with carpet but, after 20 years, we decided to put in a hard surface with vinyl plank. This issue was challenging, but Steve's crew did an amazing job. The result is beautiful and there is no more bump in the middle of the room. From the initial customer service person, to the crew that leveled our floor, to the installation and clean up -everything was great. We highly recommend Carpet and Vacuum Expo in Potomac, MD.

We have bought many carpets from Steve over the years. Steve is easy to work with and prices are very reasonable!!! And his carpet installers are very professional and do a great job. They are very diligent with cleaning up after they are done. We also bought a vacuum from them too!! Great place. Highly recommend them.

We had a fantastic experience with Steve and his crew. We came in multiple times to check out (practically) every sample in the store. Steve was very patient with my constant hemming and hawing, always trying to suggest budget-friendly options for basement carpeting, which I promptly ignored and got some fancy carpet because I wanted my basement to be happy.

Mike and his staff were terrific to work with for my new kitchen floor. When the first floor didn’t match the sample from the vendor Mike worked with me to quickly fix it and get me a new floor. His team was prompt and took care of moving everything. I love the new floor and will call them for my next project.

Found my vacuum bag there. The guy there seemed to know exactly what type of bag I needed. I think they're the only place that sell real miele bags in the area.

My husband and I (a non-white couple) went to this store to buy carpet for our basement. As soon as we walked in, one of the two salesmen started showing us their cheapest products while he repeatedly emphasized "these are our only affordable carpets", without even asking us about our budget. We walked around and browsed other samples. When I asked for the price of a higher quality carpet, the other guy said "I can check but that one is VERY expensive!." I insisted on getting the price (we really liked this one and were ready to buy), while he was checking the price, the other man brought back a sample of the significantly cheaper product and said "are you sure you don't want to look at this one again? This is very nice and it's much cheaper!." When I directly asked why the two of them insisted on selling their cheaper products they responded "we want to offer something that would fit your needs!!" Not sure how they assessed our "needs".

I don't know if they assumed we couldn't afford the product we wanted because of our skin color or the fact that we dressed very casually (we don't typically dress up to go to a flooring store!). Nevertheless, they lost a customer for good!
