The Well

My sister's and I visited to grab some coffee and work on a craft together. The lady that helped us was very sweet and helpful with all our questions! We enjoyed our iced lattes and did some water color painting. We appreciated the separate spaces. Although we could see other customers nearby, we had our own broken apart space to chat privately and craft. Great experience and seemed like great people there! 😊

This place is awesome!! Such a cool vibe! The upstairs is comfy and beautiful. The downstairs is pure zen. I had an oil infused latte (orange) with white chocolate. It was perhaps the best latte I’ve ever had!! Such a sweet barista too!

I literally experienced one of those Wizard of Oz Moments as I explored The Well and thought I'd been transported to a different universe. One filled with most amazing sitting rooms and caffeine and the walls are filled with stories and tales of previous adventure lingers lightly in the air. Really! Really? Where in the world can you find other places like this? Lemme know because I want to visit them all!

Just go. Explore. Buy a delicious beverage and sit and put down your phone and talk to somebody or just listen. You're worth it.

And the Well is worth a few special moments of your day.

I love love love this place! Every time I visit, the employees are so nice and attentive. My favorite go to is the lemon meringue tea or the pineapple lemon lime collagen slush. They are both so relaxing, calming, and good in taste. Whenever friends come to town then I always come in for a visit for tea or photo shoot because of the beautiful decor.

I cannot love this place more! Love at first sight. The ground level is actually the top floor while the bottom floor is legit underground. You go down the stairs and it’s a little world of different little nooks where you can have your coffee, latte, tea, smoothie, snacks and order a pedicure or just chat away. It’s perfect. I recommend the Lunar Latte to chill. You can also hang outside and enjoy the peaceful downtown. Perfect afternoon

Oh I just don't want to leave! The space at street level has a lovely, relaxing aura. It's filled with vintage furniture and soft colors that are so picturesque it would be perfect for a photo shoot (which you can have in the space for a small fee). The Adaptogen tea flight is such a fun and healthy way of trying new things. I chose "Heal", "Energize", & "Balance" for my 6 flight options and wasn't disappointed. They have local products they sell and though I didn't get to see the downstairs portion this visit, they have 4-5 themed rooms where you can more effectively choose the tea experience you wish to have. They don't have tons of food, but they do have vegan and gluten free options which is really nice! I enjoyed everything my husband and I tried, especially their Avocado Toast and Cinnamon Crunch Toast. Whether you're just passing through or a local of Auburn/Opelika this is a MUST.

Went in with a friend to have tea. The one we chose was amazing!! Definitely recommend Lemon Meringue. Service was great! Building and all items made from local businesses inside were beautiful. Lots of rooms to choose from to have tea. Also have a pedicure station I would have loved to try out.

A must see in Opelika! They offer a wide array of interesting drinks and small bites. Perfect spot to relax, catch up on a little work or just treat yourself! The atmosphere and interior decor is perfectly beautiful and the products and services they offer are from other locally owned women's businesses!

Such a cozy space! Several seating areas and the staff were relatable and easy to talk to. I had the pineapple lemon lime slush, which was so refreshing!

The Well has some fantastic teas and bakery goods. The atmosphere is cozy with several themed rooms to sit in. As you go down the main staircase, you'll feel the character of the old building transform into pockets of other worlds. After ordering at the main counter, the server will bring your order to you on a tray complete with teapot, cup and saucer, honey, and cream — alongside anything else you may have ordered. The coffee is good, but The Well's main draw is the tea (if you want coffee, I suggest that you walk over to Sidetracks).
I just recently had ACL surgery, and, while it took me a while to get up and down the stairs, I appreciated having a room where I could put my feet up.
I've been here several times over the past few years, and it seems they never stop changing up the sitting rooms. Some of my favorites have come and gone, but I love the feeling of anticipation as my wife and I discover new magical settings to enjoy a quiet afternoon with a book, some tasty tidbits, and superbly prepared tea.

Absolutely wonderful! As a barista myself, I tend to subconsciously be more critical when it comes to coffee shops, but this place is just so cute! Not only that, but the service is wonderful and the food/drinks are made to perfection! I still have 3 years left at Auburn University, so I’ll definitely be coming back! ☕ Love the old floors too!

I am a addicted to tea like some are addicted to coffee.....I love this place.....it makes me so happy.

Super fun! The atmosphere was great, and the barista was so personable and helpful. I don't usually go for pumpkin spice lattes just because they're almost always too sweet, but I took a risk and ordered one here. That was two weeks ago and I'm still thinking about how perfect it was. Just the right amount of sweet and spice, somehow comforting and refreshing at the same time. My husband got a cappuccino, and it was also delicious. A+ all around!

Incredible hidden gem 💎 the moment you walk through the doors, you're transported into a bohemian hideaway. Every aspect of this business was thoughtfully designed. The drinks & treats are unlike anything else you can find in this area, which is a great thing! Love this place and can't wait to see this new business flourish!!

Where do I start....I love this cafe. I find out about it when I googled coffee shops in Opelika. I ended up getting the cold lavender coffee and it was devine. I love the rooms down stairs because they all have great atmospheres and the drink selection is extensive. I plan on coming back with my friends.

Amazing atmosphere and even better people. This is the best place around for a relaxing night with friends and a great healthy beverage. Highly, highly recommend. If you haven't been, you don't know what you're missing!

Amazing tea shop where you can drink freshly steeped tea. I love taking my daughter here for a real life tea party. All the rooms are private and themed differently. A little girls dream!

Absolutely beautiful space with a lovely staff! Allison was amazing with hosting and planning the wedding shower for our family. Highly recommend!!
