Mecatos Bakery & Café

Delicious and beautiful! I can't believe I never found this amazing bakery before. Mecatos has it all, delicious desserts, beautiful atmosphere, and every single one of the employees is cheerful, helpful, and all around wonderful. They truly made my first visit special. The Tiramisu and Coconut Pie were delicious. The Merengue is extra large and full of flavor. But, the Tropical Basket/pie was so beautifully colorful that I didn't even want to eat it, but I'm glad I did! It was a slice of paradise! All of the fruit was delightfully sweet. Give Mecatos a try, you won't be disappointed.

Their Colombian coffee is delicious! I love coming here when I’m in the area. The staff is kind, and the decor is adorable. I highly recommend coming here, especially when Daniela is at the counter:) she was super sweet.

I visited this Cafe in the evening and enjoyed it! They weren't crowded, staff were extremely kind and helpful, and the place was clean! I tried the key lime pie, very delicious, and a caramel frappe. I'm not a consistent coffee drinker, so I couldn't handle the amount of caffeine in the frappe. So, be sure to ask how many espresso shots are in some of their drinks. One of the employees were very attentive and kind to my caffeine overload, at no fault to the cafe at all. They were wonderful. I love the seating area! It's so cute and comfy. I will definitely return and encourage anyone to stop in and try their sweet treats! I can't wait to try their other food items!

A fabulous new cafe style bakery! Great selections of fresh deliciousness. We tried the ham and cheese roll, beef and chicken empanadas, and several sweet pastries.
I am always looking for good bakeries and I am pleased to rate this one highly for customer service, atmosphere and taste!

I found a new favorite location for brunch. Staff are welcoming for new customers. They explain the menu for you and how they make the coffee for your preference. I’m bring my whole family on my next visit.

this place is so cute. i’m visiting florida from new jersey & i never heard of mecatos so i wanted to try it. first off, the cappuccino was SOOO GOOD & CUTE. the workers were so kind & welcoming. the seating areas are so comfortable & it is very clean. i love it here.

Since opening day I've been here 4 times already. Staff is all so friendly and attentive. They make you feel like family. Cozy and comfy place. Food is absolutely amazing, every time I've gone I've ordered something different and never been disappointed. My favorite is the avocado toast, still I can't leave without a few pan de bonos to go.

As a Colombian, I am in love with this place. I have visited a few times since their recent opening. Each and every time I go I try something different and have not been let down once. This is authentic Colombian food, the best in central Florida! Their customer service is excellent. The owners make you feel welcome with their friendly and open attitude. For those who want to have a calm space to get work done or have some food and drinks with friends this is the place to go. The space is so energizing to be in, it is a very clean and spacious cafe. I highly recommend visiting!!!

I can't believe it! Mecatos has come to our side of town! I am beyond excited. This bakery is unparalleled in taste, quality and customer service. With every bite of my guava and cheese quesito and sip of my delectable cortadito coffee I feel the love, quality and care they have put right in. The atmosphere of the place is family friendly and gives a reminiscent feeling of home. A shout out to our server, Amy, who cared for us with love and to my other sweet friend behind the counter who treats me like family form the first time I stepped in the door. I love this place! I come in 3-4 times a week and Leo is always the barista those days. He’s really great, he’s memorized my order to a T and helps me with the menu when I want to try something new. He always has a positive attitude which is refreshing in the morning. My go to is a warm elephant ear and a caramel latte 😋

Mecatos has always been great and this new location lives up to it. Everything was fantastic from the food to the service and atmosphere. We had some cafe con leche (highly recommend) empanadas and pan de bonos. Loved it and I will be back soon! Welcome to Ocoee Mecatos!

Leo is amazing!! He always has a great attitude, positivity and inviting. Leo really does make the best drinks also. I always request him to make my drinks because of his attention to detail and quality craftsmanship. He is a big reason why we go to Mecatos 2-3 times a week. I recently visited the Columbian bakery and I have to say, I was blown away by the quality of their pastries. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with the aroma of fresh-baked goods and a warm smile from the staff. The display case was full of colorful treats, and it was hard to decide what to choose.
