Feb 26 2022.. one of the best place to see birds.. lot of different types of birds.. the parking is almost full on the weekend.. lees than half a mile to the deck from the parking… it was very pleasant to spend time there.. will come again…

Nice place to enjoy nature and walk around and see different types of birds. The trails are easy to walk .

There were hundreds of birds , sandhill cranes snowy egrets, vanada geese, several thypes of ducks as well.
There are hiking trails as well.
All in all a place I continually visit.

It's a bit of a drive for us (>30 mi), but well worth it. We've see hundreds, perhaps thousands of birds there -- egrets, cranes, ducks, geese, coots, and many we didn't know the names of.
