These guys personally scout out local stuff from Europe and Latin America. They have a collection of genuinely unique and interesting food items and gifts that are not available at a typical international store that is just buying from a big import / distribution company. Every time I'm in town I ask what's new and I haven't been disappointed yet. Here's a pic of my last haul:

What a great spot for holiday shopping! We bought some food items to make gift baskets for friends (caramels, crackers, spreads, etc). I'm going back for stuff for us!

Fun store with a good selection of unique or hard to find items. Staff (perhaps she was the owner) is very knowledgeable and makes it hard to walk out without wanting to buy something. She got us with the chocolate selection 😁

Amistad is a total gem. The owners are lovely and the products they choose to stock are top notch. My go to for when I feel like cooking an Italian dinner with ONLY italian products. Pictured is a risotto I made with their Carnaroli rice, San Marzano tomatoes, and Puglian olive oil.

We had a blast browsing all unique products in this store. We left with much more than we would have imagined, but everything has been great! The owner was very informative about all the products. We got the mole sausage, mole sauce, and very tasty nemi cactus sticks.
