Stopped here on an impulse and am so happy I finally did! The museum section is neat, with my favorite exhibit being the uranium glass! The owners are very welcoming and kind, and everything in the shop section is clearly labeled. Much love! 🖤

$13 admission for adults. Plenty to look at.

The shop was beautiful and I loved absolutely everything I saw. The co-owner checked us out and she was friendly and fun to talk to. Beautiful shop, highly recommend visiting. We didn't have enough time for the museum but if I'm ever back in town it is on the top of my list for sure.

My husband brought me here on my birthday adventure! It was definitely worth the trip! There was lots of cool stuff to look at, neat history lessons, the people who work there are very nice, and the gift shop was awesome! I bought a beautiful harness I'm absolutely in love with ❤

Long time supporter and today went very well. The exhibits and tour have come along very nicely.. Hopefully this place stays around for a very long time memorializing oddities for Portlanders

This place was a dark haven and well worth a trip to! The proprietors of the establishment were extremely kind and the museum was a trip! Highly recommended!

The museum is dark, but you adjust after a minute or two. They had interesting things on display, a large bit of vampire things and victorian era historical items. It was all well organized and clearly labeled. The store has some fun items, too. There are some areas in the museum that are steps, not ramps.

Just go in! Unique, dark, weird, and friendly. Ya, it's Portland alright. It may seem a little scary from the outside, but it's really not. The girl behind the counter was really welcoming and friendly and answered my curious questions. I should have taken more pictures. They have wayyyy more cool stuff and clothing too. My daughter loved the store. If you are looking for a gift, big or small for that certain somebody who appreciates the creepy, then you really need to visit this place.

A haven for lovers of the macabre (like me). While small in size, the museum makes up for it in creepy atmosphere. Well worth a visit.

I walk past this place weekly, but it looks like someone broke 3 of their windows on 3/2/24. Transients are getting brazen out here.

Show your support by checking them out. They'll need it.

An incredible place. It's still pretty new, and not fully fleshed out as a exhibition. In spite of that, it's one of the must-see places in Portland for tourists and visitors.

The Freakybuttrue Peculiarium and Museum has a competitor. And honestly, I'm liking the Skeleton Key Odditorium more.

What is this place?
It's a combination of Portland's last goth shop (AnotherStateofMind is punk so it doesn't count), museum of oddities, and magick store. And it is wonderful.
I've known the owner since they started at the Belmont location and it's been awesome seeing them grow and expand. It's something that I drag people to because I want more people to know about this place and I want them to be successful. It's like what Portland used to be and now only a handful of vestiges remain. The Skeleton Key is one of them last glorious places

This place is so cool! Leave yourself plenty of time to browse the store and the museum. There's something everywhere you look, and if you rush you'll miss it! Can you spot the tiny hiding vampire? :) There is also a lot of beautiful artwork by some local artists. Don't miss this place!! Very kind staff as well!

The Skeleton Key is one of the most intriguing places in Portland. You never know what you may find there. There is always something new each time I come in. Perfect for window shopping or finding that unique gift you won't find elsewhere. The owner is also one of the kindest, pure hearted person I have met in Portland. Her energy alone is enough to drop in and say hello! They also just opened a museum that I haven't seen yet but have heard is super rad. Definitely a Portland landmark you don't wanna miss!
