When we visited here last week, I had no idea what an amazing, magical place it would be. All the mid-century, modern furnishings, decor, and clothing you might dream of.
Whole rooms set up in all their wood panel glory. Carpets that were deep, and every flat surface adorned with an ashtray immediately took me back to my childhood.
I left with a beautiful new clock, and a burning desire to return and explore again as soon as we can!

Oh my goodness. This place is so fun. Many different sellers in a very large warehouse space. They have a bar and a little coffee stand and so many of the sellers have created totally magical worlds with their stands (especially upstairs). It feels almost like a museum. I found some great finds for good prices. Not everything was well priced, there was certainly a lot of really expensive stuff but one can definitely get a steal here if you know what to look for. Give yourself at least 45 minutes to wander around.

What an absolutely awesome place.

Visited not really knowing what to expect and was blown away by the size and variety. There are two whole floors to browse, some artists studios, even a bar. I enjoyed that each "booth" had a different style to it and a very different collection of items.

Price range from less than $5 to over $1,000. I thought the really spendy items made sense, there are some very high quality vintage furniture pieces for example. Some of the old kid toys that have definitely seen better days were appropriately priced which was nice to see.

Overall, could definitely spend a few hours here. I look forward to coming back every few months to see what is new in!

What a cool place! It's huge (2 floors) and has an amazing selection of vintage stuff. Prices seemed decent too. A cafe on the lower level and a beer/wine bar on the top. Wonderful place for vintage shopping or to just wander around.

Amazing atmosphere, almost like walking through a Harry Potter world. Great variety of anything you could want for gifts or yourself. Very kind staff too

In August it’ll be a year of vending here, and while I’ve had a few bumps with some of the staff, overall it’s been great. They’ve now implemented anti-theft devices which was my main concern. Many of the vendors who stayed through the switch of management have been paid back from the debts the previous owner left behind. Vendors that left and led smear campaigns have not been paid back. And personally, after being publicly bullied by some of them, I don’t blame MD for not making these people a priority.

I am one of the few new vendors that actually did try to help the other vendors, in the beginning. However, all they want to do is boycott and have everyone they know boycott in the hopes that they’ll be paid back. Meanwhile, there are still many women, poc, queer, disabled people still vending here that need your support. When boycotting a business that’s dependent on individual small businesses, it’s not the owners that are affected by the smear campaigns, it’s the other vendors in this community that are. So it’s wild to me that people within this community would do that to other small business, while asking customers to support theirs. I attempted to help these people file claims in small claims court, but was bullied mercilessly for it by a previous vendor that isn’t even owed any money. So rest assured, when you’re shopping here you’re not doing anything wrong.

As for prices, personally I try to set mine reasonably, but any time you feel something is priced too high, I would encourage you to to use google image search to price check. I use google image searches when pricing all my items, and you would truly be surprised how much some things are worth. 🤯

The smell and dust; is unpleasant. I haven’t noticed the smell personally, but the dust is definitely out of control lol. If you’re sensitive to dust, I suggest wearing a mask since you will have a hell of a time avoiding it here.

The bathroom: I saw one review about the bathroom being an open layout, and the stalls being out of order. I’m not sure when that review was, but I believe the stalls have been fixed now.

The bags being checked; yes they will ask you to check your bag, and at times you may see vendors with larger bags doing both maintenance, or checking on our friends booths. They have lockers now, so everything is safe. Many of us have cameras and will check in with the front desk if we see someone with a large bag, since we’ve had a massive theft problem. Please know it is not personal, or how you look or your sexual affiliation that causes the staff to take your bag.

Grumpy staff: even the vendors have to deal with certain personality types at the front desk. Some are vendors that have stayed through the management switch, and are unhappy with MD. Some are current vendors that are new to being behind a register. And some are just very busy people with a lot on their mind. I know how hard it can be when you feel personally attacked by a retail worker. I’ve worked in retail for a long time, and even I still have a hard time when employees are rough with me. But I will say, that usually it is not personal. They are typically juggling about 10 things at any given time, since there is so much to do and so few to do it.

As for messy booths! Please don’t judge MD for that. All the vendors are in charge or they’re own booths. We have vendor nights to spruce and restock, but don’t typically do a lot of that during the day. So you may be catching us right before a vendor night. Sorry 😅😅

Lastly!! If you want to see everyone’s booths at their very best, and keep up with new stock, I highly suggest following MD on IG. The social media manager does a great job reposting vendors updates and events. MD does events monthly, if not bi-monthly and they are a lot of fun!

And if you ever do go, please take a quick stop at my booth on the first floor! 😍 Hope that helps!!! 💜💜💜💜

New vintage mall with 140 vendors on two floors in the Central Eastside Industrial District just a few blocks from the much bigger, older, and more well known City Liquidators. Memory Den is just as good though and in true Portland fashion, it has a bar. Wall of Radios is Memory Den’s most well known feature. Huge collection of vintage radios from the 1930’s- 1960’s that they restore and convert into Bluetooth speakers. These radios sell for $225-$400

This place is a hidden gem! It’s 2 huge stories full of anything and everything you could think of, spanning over a century between 150+ vendors. I’m done wasting my time at tiny overpriced hipster thrifts, I’ll be coming here from now on.

I came in looking for 2 very specific things: vintage light brown Frye boots and a slinky silk dress for a wedding. I found both within an hour - and then some! I was also surprised at the low prices for such great quality items. Frye boots for $30!? I couldn’t find them cheaper than $150 online. $20 for a stunning Jay Jacobs dress? THIS is what thrifting should be.

Even if you just feel like getting lost somewhere, this almost feels like a museum, filled to the brim with nostalgic artifacts. I can’t wait to visit again for the furniture.

Gahhh LOVE this place so much!! The variety of vendors is amazing plus they have a handful of local artist booths where not only can you buy art but sometimes the artists are actually there doing all the art things so you can watch them work. Such a fun concept! I checked out with Emma who was super nice and friendly. All in all such a fun place to frequent and is totally my new go to for out of town visitors even just for the cute picture opportunities with all the vintage set ups.

Going into here reminded me when my aunts mom had this place back in Chesapeake, Virginia. I felt I jumped back to the 90's seeing this store. A lot of vintage stuff sold here they have as well. Vintage clothes, toys, you name it. Found an awesome lamp with old school picture slides used as the lamp. High chair was awesome looking as well. The vintage clocks on the wall upstairs was even more amazing. Will definitely come in here with a friend to show him. The dishwear my aunt has. Didn't even know it was corelle, makes sense though.

Lots and lots to see, two levels. Randomly saw this place and decided to explore, ended up spending an hour. Very clean and organized.

Such a fun place! So much vintage and unique finds. They even allow dogs so my pup didn’t have to sit in the car! There’s 2 floors and so many different sellers so they’re just a little bit of everything.

This was a fun antique store! Lots of vendors across 2 floors, with a lot of variety. But you can read about that on any review.

Can we talk about the bathroom though? It's the original locker room of whatever factory used to be in this space! It was a little strange that it was unisex (it was unisex, right? I didn't accidentally use the men's? I did that once in Amsterdam...), but I didn't feel like privacy was an issue. But that SOAP took me right back to 1987 elementary school! You know your hands are clean because the top 3 layers of flesh are worn away!

Anyhow make sure you check it out. It's to the left of the bitchin clock wall.

Impressively huge space with lots of great vendors. Lots of clothes, furniture, lighting, and records. There was an estate sale going on also when we went which was a bonus. The upstairs had even more stuff. Expect to spend quite a bit of time wondering around and getting lost in the booths.

I’ve been vending here since the first location opened on Broadway! The previous owner was a nightmare, but change in ownership has been promising so far. I like that similar aesthetics between booths are staggered so you don’t feel like you’re seeing the same things over and over. The music booth downstairs on floor 1 is a must-see, and the hidden library under the staircase! Also excited about the new eras lounge, there’s supposed to be some cool photography space coming up there.

Editing my initial rating after revisiting this large antique mall. My recent visit was wonderful. The folks who worked there were so sweet and I had such a good experience. This place is very large and the vendors clearly work incredibly hard to curate some really beautiful vintage. Give yourself time to wander. Lots of MCM/boho styles in particular. Got some lovely things and will be back next time I’m in town.

Loved this place its huge. Went looking for some vintage wall art and there was alot to choose from. I liked that the selection varied and it wasn't all clothes, lots of knick knacks, dishes, art, etc. Had a cocktail while shopping which was fun!
