Al's #1 Italian Beef

The food was fantastic I WILL eat there again. Atmosphere was good. Nothing fancy room to stretch out. Wasn't horribly crowded.

Haven’t had an Al’s beef and sausage combo in a long time and it was still just as delicious as I remember. Super flavorful and tender. I love how the hot peppers add a nice heat to the sandwich. So of the best chili cheese fries you could ever have. Can’t wait till I’m in the area again, I’ll for sure be grabbing me one.

Best beef sandwich you can find And the only beef sandwich I will eat. Use to go to both the Tinley and Orland locations but when Orland closed this became the only one in the area. Since that happened years ago the service has only improved. If anyone is looking for a beef sandwich, forget EVERYWHERE else and just find an Al's.

I typically get the loaded cheese fries but just went with the regular cheese fry this time. The "small" keeps getting bigger!

The best place to get an authentic Italian beef sandwich! There is no comparison, for it is way better than Portillos, hands down. The sandwich is dipped into a delicious broth before it is wrapped and handed to you or you can ask for the sandwich dry and get the broth on the side for your own dipping pleasure. When you open the wrapper, you begin to drool and can smell the delicousness of the sandwich. The first bite is heavenly. You can add hot or sweet peppers (hot is the way to go) or go without. For sure we will be back, as this is another must stop when we are in the area. Highly recommend!

Have not been to an Al's in several years. When I checked & saw there was 1 less than a mile away I HAD to skip the free dinner work setup & get as much as I could eat!

I stayed in Tinley Park with my bf for 3 nights, and on the last night we ate at Al’s. I got the Regular Beef, Dipped, Hot and Sweet. And it was DIVINE. We liked it so much, we stopped again on our way out of IL at 10:30 a.m. when their doors opened. It was just as good the second time. I did a lot while visiting IL, but I think I’ll miss Al’s Beef most of all.

I always get a big beef with cheddar no peppers. Hands down truly is the best beef in Chicago. Seasoned taste just right. Still has an authentic taste.

I come here every year for lunch while at a conference. I live in the Chicago suburbs so I know what a beef is. This place has a very very good beef! Thanks, see ya next year.

This Al's Beef has Bleu Cheese and hot sauce French fries that I really enjoy with my gravy bread with extra hot peppers and green peppers Give it a try! Always good service too!

Man, this food is just amazing. My co-worker really wanted to come here because he is an oldschool wrestling fan and this place is legendary in that circle. I am so glad I got to tag along to eat here OMG! My first lunch i had a Chicago Dog and it was pretty good, but the second visit I got the classic Italian beef sandwich with the hot peppers and provolone cheese blown away!! That Italian beef is so good that we are going to stop in on our way out to the airport so we can have another.

The Italian beef is EXTRAORDINARY. The staff kept the building very clean, and they were quick w/ service. Easy pick up and go.

I'm looking forward to take out again when I'm back in Tinley!

Al's has the best beef in the Chicago Land area. The fries are also great.

Great service great people food is always hot. When I call in my order, they even wait until I'm there to cook my fries. I don't mind waiting a few extra minutes for hot fries their cheese is hot and amazing!! Just ate in. Combo amazing as usual fries cheese on the side YUMMY!!

Beef sandwich with hot peppers, you gotta get the whole sandwich dipped. Yea, THE WHOLE THING. Get plenty of napkins cuz this bad boy is a MESS but so good that I've actually scheduled trips from Texas to Chicago JUST to have this sandwich again.

Oh my! Those Gypsy Fries are the very best! You just can’t go wrong; the Italian beef is phenomenal definitely recommend

My wife and I were pleased to learn there was an Al's right near our hotel. We stopped in and got an Italian beef sandwich and an Italian sausage. We split both.

The Italian sausage was the best I've ever had. Hands down. It was seasoned so perfectly, heated to perfection. It had a good snap and a hint of spiciness.

The Italian beef... unbeatable. It was tender, moist, flavorful, and craveable. The bread also held up very well to the dip in the jus.

I'd definitely recommend this place to everyone.
