I usually go to USPS North Brunswick(Livingston) b/c Vince is so cool and knows everything about his job. I came here b/c my fav. location doesn't open until 10AM(They losing a star for that. Lol). I went into this USPS, it smelled good, had available pens, looked really clean and then met this woman who helped me patiently with my packaging and provide plenty of good options. Her name was Tanya. I think she was the supervisor but I mean customer service was superior. This might be my new favorite location. They open early, clean, provide minor accessories that is this essential. Usps is has a lot of competition and little things like this location makes USPS stay on the modern map....especially with their great prices. Thank Tanya. God bless. You rock!! AMAZING Customer service. Tanya was very helpful, pleasant patient and informative. I definitely will go back here for my postal needs. I am so happy I didn't go by the negative reviews. I went in expecting good vibes and that I received.

Not crowded, was in and out in just a few minutes.

Update 10/30/24: I haved lived in Milltown for quite a long time and before, during and after the pandemic there was only one person working at the desk or in the big van that was set up outside for a few months due to flood damage inside. Unfortunately this employee was incredibly rude, confrontational, ignorant an uninterested in doing her job!...I came to my wits end one day when I was trying to ship a package to my niece with fairly expensive gifts in it. I paid for the shipping and everything and I had left the box open at the top so I could place something in it last minute and the girl at the post office would not give me even a small piece of packing tape which forced me to buy the strips that are sold for a ridiculous amount of money. By the time I was done I left really really upset. To add insult to injury, my niece never received the box. I knew the employee did something but how could I prove she did something to spite me? So I reported her to USPS portal. Now, being a small town, I discovered I was not the only one having these "incidents". I never stepped foot in there again unless it was to drop mail through the slot, anything else I would either drive to North Brunswick or East Brunswick locations.

So today, I dropped a piece of mail in the slot and forgot something important on it so I had no choice but to swallow my pride and low and behold was a new employee who could not have been nicer, eager to help and take extra steps so I felt 100 percent happy leaving without worry. So I pray that this is a permanent change for our small post office!

So if you were like me, going out of your way to avoid the nastiness that plagued the office, I think it's safe now...

Idk why some people are comments rude staff, when this was one of the best experiences I have ever had a post office. Extremely helpful and caring, and they’re not afraid to lend you a hand. 10/10 would come here again for all my future shipping’s.

The best post office I have ever been to. The staff is nice and co-operative and I have never had any issues so far. Although Cranbury Rd post office is near to me but I prefer this one.

Currently the main front counter is closed for renovations so you cant buy stamps here or pay to have your boxes shipped. They are only accepting boxes and packages already stamped, otherwise you have to go to East Brunswick location on Cranbury road.

Saw all the bad reviews so thought I’d check it out. Usually go to EB post office. The woman at the desk took care of me promptly, and was quite cordial. No problem.

I love the drive-thru mail dropoff option at this location.
I've also sent a lot of mail over the pandemic and the staff here have been the best and really helpful.

I do send a lot,but Milltown usps the best I have use so far,fast for all you need .are there staff very friendly and know what they have to do,and how with customer ,even if I live in East Brunswick I have no problem with this one , and I goin to use Milltown one ,thanks guys!!

Been going there for years but it's true, the taller black woman that works there is rude. Never seems to like her job enough to at least be professional. You can tell she hates saying anything nice even after a customer thanks her. It's like she's thinking why are they forcing me to reply. It's usually the company employees that thanks their customers for using there service or at least a simple take care. Evertime I go there customers have to say it to her because she doesn't care enough to say it first. It'll be a miracle if she even acknowledge the comment. Just yesterday was probably my last time I'm going to use this post office. Tall gentleman walks in after me. Gets her. He says, hello. How are you doing. Nothing in return for a response. He repeats again ( which I loved the fact that he forced her to reply ) she finally answered with an attitude. "Grand". God bless that man because someone else would have probably pointed out the obvious but he was a true gentleman. Love the other black woman who works there. She is Awesome. But I can't go back to a place where I might get extremely annoyed but extremely bad customer service. I send my Thanks to everyone else. I appreciate your customer service and kind words. Sorry I won't be going back. The negative given from this individual un called for and unwelcomed.

The lady who is visually impaired is so RUDE. Why let her do the customer service job if she doesn’t like to deal with customers?

So ridiculous! ! Came in to return a package with the label and asked from the casheir the tape, no you have to buy one!!so lazy public employees.

The lady that is visually impaired is so rude.She has no patience with older people but she want costumers to be patient with her when she takes her time reading an address.If she wants her job she has to learn to be nicer.

I hate that I have to leave a negative review but the tall black lady that’s working the front counter shouldn’t be working the front counter she has a nasty attitude!! Every time I go into the post office she has an attitude. Customer should not have to deal with this type of service when there is UPS and FedEx!! She is horrible!!!!
