Santa Cruz High Field

My niece graduated Class of 2023. I truly enjoyed it. It was put together very well, with the only exception being how the graduates walked down the aisle. They were all over the place.
A wonderful ceremony nonetheless. Thank you #SantaCruzHighSchool

Impressive improvements have been made in the years since I attended SCHS.
According to my younger teenager, they have the best hot cocoa at the snack shack there. He's been to many of his brothers' events at all the high school in our area.

Brand new AstroTurf and nice running track with the spongy surfacing material.

Nice football field. Saw the Santa Cruz high game against Soqeul high. Easy to get into and out. No parking at the field. Only street parking and it gets full quickly on game nights.

I worked for SCCS and for a while I was the groundskeeper for Santa Cruz high. WOW!! What a change! Artificial turf, lines for football and soccer, awesome lights, bleachers without slivers,porta pottys, pools has been moved. It's been around 30 years or so since I have seen this area and there's so much improvement!! Good job SCSC!!

Did you know that the Oakland raiders used to practice here in the early 1960’s. Just an old factoid. 😁

A beautiful facility for track workouts. It is used by the Santa Cruz Track Club for the Tuesday night and Saturday morning workout program.
