My husband and I have been to a lot of restaurants in a lot of places, as a glance at my past reviews can confirm, and Le Mu Eats is without question one of my absolute favorites we have ever been to anywhere! Absolutely everything was incredible- the food and drink, every person we interacted with, the atmosphere, the fact that they care about each other and support local, even down to the smallest details like chilled glasses with our water. To say we were impressed would be a cosmic understatement. We visited on one of our final days staying in town or I'm sure we would have been in daily. When you care about what you do and the people you do it with it shows and the heart poured into Le Mu Eats is undeniable. I sincerely cannot wait to visit again someday. Highly, highly recommend!

Being two weeks into spending a summer in rural Andover, we let go of any expectations for excellent food nearby. Imagine our excitement when we discovered Le Mu Eats?! The Kai appetizer was amazing. So flavorful, the eggs were perfectly cooked, and they were delicious. For entrees, we got the Porke bowl and the Angry Rooster. Both were so fresh, and so so tasty. Even our drinks included pickles and onions pickled in-house. Service and atmosphere were excellent and prices were super reasonable for the quality. We can't wait to return and try other dishes on the menu?

Very tasty food! We went for dinner and couldn’t get a table it was so busy😅 So we went for lunch and got takeout again the next day. Definitely worth it! Loved the food, especially the hot noodle dishes on a cold day. The Thai iced tea was really sweet so some may not like it but I enjoyed it. Great to have this out near the slopes!

Absolutely incredible culinary experience! The flavors were exquisite. The meat fell off the bone in the Pho and the flavor combinations were out of this world. Locally sourced food, welcoming atmosphere and the flavors, the FLAVORS, so yummy! If you are even remotely close to Bethel, this is a must visit.

Just left with my family of four. Sat at the bar and enjoyed the beauty of three wonderful chefs preparing fresh and sublimely tasty food. The kind that you talk about years later. The host and wait staff made us feel welcome and special. Such a culinary and highlight. We were truly grateful and so fortunate to have the joy of spending a late afternoon at Le Mu Eats. Thank you very much. Total joy.

I went on a rainy Thursday afternoon and had a great experience.

The food: It was delicious. I got the Hot Noodz, no protein added. It was loaded with veggies and very flavorful. I wouldn't say its spicy, but very well seasoned with ginger and soy sauce. I loved it. My partner ordered the Salmon Soba, which I don't have a picture of unfortunately, since the presentation was nice. The taste was even better, I wish I had the recipe for the miso dressing.

The drinks: Water was served immediately with a vase and glasses. I love when places do this honestly. I feel like its less pressure on the staff and I am always happy to pour my own drinks. My partner ordered a beer called Oishii, a Japanese style beer made in Brazil, which I thought was kind of cool. The beer definitely leans on the pricey side but that being said, their selection focuses on local craft brews and imports that I've only seen in specialty stores. I will try their Thai tea next time.

The vibe: The inside is absolutely adorable. The decor was eclectic and thoughtful. The table mushrooms and manga wall definitely being the highlights for me. We sat at the bar and didn't feel too cramped when it was full. All of the staff were super nice and very attentive even when it was super busy. They were playing the chillest hip hop and it was a perfect cozy spot for a rainy day.

I did get food here "to go" previously (a week or so before writing this). I did not go inside then. I got the Bahn Mi with tofu, one of my all time favorites. I've had a lot of Bahn Mi before, so if I am rating this on a scale from 1-10, I would give it a solid 7. The veggies were nice and crispy, having the tofu option was awesome, and it was super crispy as well. The bread tasted really, really good, but I did find the sandwich to be really dry. I will say ordering tofu probably had something to do with that.

Overall, I would go here again and recommend to others.

(Edit: added a picture of the salmon soba)

This is our go to restaurant whenever we’re in town.

The food is amazing. I think the chef/owner is incredibly creative and talented. I hope he wins his James Beard Award for his gnocchi dish. It is simply out of this world amazing.

Today we took advantage of the beautiful Fall foliage and the outdoor dining. The twinkle lights above us at a nice touch. Our server came over and brought our water in a vase and little glasses for us to serve ourselves which is quite handy.
We tried the brussel sprouts for the first time. They had a soy chili glaze and fried onions and we're simply amazing. Then we had one of our favorites the Hot Noodz, these noodles have a great compilation of color and flavor. Always willing to accommodate a need like eliminating something from the dish. We also had the Porke' Bowl (but with chicken instead). This is my go-to. It is beautifully presented. I love the pickled onions scallions and cilantro that's piled on top. Jasmine rice a sunny side up egg and Chile aioli is just fabulous. Before leaving we ordered the Thai tea (to go) that we feel in love with back when Le Mu was in the little blue shanty 💙 Black tea, cardamommmm😉
We don't make it as often as we'd like... I do eat vicariously through others LOL I always send people there when they ask for restaurant recommendations.
We will definitely return again and again as often as we can.

Amazing restaurant! Delicious innovative flavors at very reasonable prices. Probably the best restaurant in Bethel, and if you are anywhere around you should stop by! Also delicious cocktails.

The vegan options here were above and beyond our expectations. Not only did the menu in person have more vegan options than the one online, but they were delicious and left us quickly finding time to come back to try the other dishes. The staff was knowledgeable and incredibly kind. The decor and outdoor patio was beautiful and welcoming/cozy.

Wow, YUM! So MUCH delicious flavor in the brussels, noodles, and Bahn Mi sandwich! We couldn’t get a table inside at 7:15 on a Saturday night, so waited outside at one of two fire pits with really lovely warm cocktails.

Le Mu Eats is a gem. It is our favorite restaurant in the whole state of Maine. The atmosphere is welcoming and warm. You feel like you are in a familiar home and a friend is cooking for you and you are greeted with kindness every time. The food is amazing. We always struggle with the decision to try something new or stick to our beloved Porke Bowl. If you are skiing Sunday River or just passing through Bethel, you must stop by Le Mu Eats. This establishment will serve you a fantastic meal made with love and care and you’ll feel welcomed in like a local.

Wow… just wow. We couldn’t stop ordering because everything on the menu is so incredible, delicious, fresh, and authentic. The flavors are out of control. We had the fresh spring rolls, hot noodles, soup, and pork bahn mi. Everything was seriously out of control amazing. The drinks are creative and soooo good. The owners and staff are super friendly, kind, and welcoming. If you don’t go check this place out you are surely missing out. What a gem of a spot!! Will be back very often. THANK YOU LE MU!!!

Delicious. Drinks, food, energy/vibe…all 5 stars! I would ride my bike all the way across NH again to experience this - again; this place is worth your prioritization, whether you come from near or far.

Yes! Love the menu options. Delicious food and great service. Great addition to Bethel.
Update* Finally got to try the new location. Awesome! The place was packed but the kitchen rocked it like nothing. The Angry Rooster fried chix sandwich was delicious.

So glad Le Mu now has the old DiCocoa's spot in town! They now have a more expansive menu, with drinks and cocktails. Lunch and dinner available during the weekdays, brunch on weekends.

The Khao Pick Sen was super tasty as was the pork and cabbage dish. They have cool drinks and good local beers available. Can't wait to come back again.
