This is a well stocked little shop. They had many, many options for every item my mini racer needed. We went at busy o’clock on Sunday of opening weekend for the ski resort. We got great service. They had tons of inventory. They had a huge wall with 50 models of adult ski boots. I stood around and watched the professional fit gurus help one woman with extremely wide feet and one youth whose fit issue was narrowness. They seem like they can help just about everyone and had so many options. The ski, pole, helmet and goggle selection was mind boggling. Not to worry, friendly staff were on hand helping to sort out the options. There were many brands of outerwear and some very enticing apres ski apparel as well. I would not hesitate to make the long drive up with a must-buy list and feel confident they will have everything every member of our family could ever need for a great weekend!

Super pleased with my experience here. Beginner/intermediate skier looking to finally invest in some gear. Visited several shops in the area and really impressed with the service. The staff were very knowledgeable, actually took measurements and turns out I was two sizes smaller than what I thought. It took over an hour but once the perfect boot was found, I had it heat molded for comfort. Even got 30% off the final bill due to end of season sales!

The staff here were incredibly helpful! This is the only place in town that rents snowshoes, and they do so at a fair price. They went out of their way to refer me to another shop in town when they didn’t have an item I was looking for. They have a great merchandise selection— high quality, good brands and well organized! The shop is very cute and I’ll be back for my mountain needs whenever I’m in town!

Might be the one true ski shop in this area. Aside from the gear selection and support for local race teams, the service and knowledge sold me. Simple example but I went in for some edge tuning tools and the guy who helped me (seemed like the owner) could tell I was still learning how to do it right, so he brought me into the back and broke down the whole process. How to use each tool, why, what not to do, everything. He could've just as easily told me to service my board at his shop instead, it's a great spot.

Over the last few weeks I've rented skis/boots and poles and had an excellent experience with Dan. Yesterday it was time to buy and once again Dan was amazing.

Gave great advice, LISTENED and pointed me in a smart direction for equipment as I grow and get better on the slopes.

Very happy with the selection of equipment and the high level of customer service.

Huge selection of apparel. Very informative and helpful staff. We are a bunch of people in our 70s going kayaking today because of the staff members' helpful guidance and information .

These guys have an enormous selection of really nice kayaks and they bring it to the drop off spot for you. I just recently brought my skis w/o bindings to be put on my skis and they did a marvelous job. Very professional and extremely friendly. Great place!

Bought a hat. It was very nice. A bit pricey but different and it is warm!

I visited Thoma Sports in January, 2020. I was greeted by extremely friendly staff, and when I proceeded in checking out ski boots, I was lucky enough to work with a gentleman by the name of Hack for boot selection and fitting. Hack was incredible! He was kind, patient, and spent hours with me determining fit both that day and the day after. I really appreciated his expertise and compassion throughout the process. And my new boots fit like a dream - and I experience the difference on the slopes, too! Plus they were a reasonable price. Many thanks to Hack and Sport Thoma.

I can't say enough good things about Sport Thoma. We rely on them for tuning and gear. They are always helpful and knowledgeable about all things skiing. They have the best boot fitter around! We buy all my daughter's race gear here and there is no one I would trust more than Luke and his crew to do my daughter's race tuning. If you are looking to shop local, and want to have a store that you can go to season after season- go to Sport Thoma, you will not be disappointed.

Hak and Dan know the area the best, and can guide you in all things outdoors in Bethel and surrounding mountains. Kayaked from them three times and couldn't have been more pleased. Great clothing selection and everything else you need to be outdoors. But first, great people!

They always have plenty of skis, clothing, helmets, mittens, gloves. The Ski technicians are absolutely amazing quality quick work best tune I have ever had!!!

Super helpful and nice crew at this place! We rented kayaks for a short afternoon river trip. Very chill experience, not too expensive, and they had same-day availability.
