Ten Thousand Villages had great hand made artisan crafts and gift which made great gifts for my family during my Austin trip. The store is non profit and the proceeds help the struggling people who make these fine items. The staff was friendly and kind and I thank them for all their help in selecting souvenirs and gifts for may family back home. Great store will definitely be back.

I love to bring my 4 & 7 yr old granddaughters here when I visit them. The money supports the makers in other countries in a fair and reliable trade, and the girls learn a little bit about the makers and their country of origin.
The store is clean well organized and the workers here are friendly and personable.
It's always a pleasure to visit 10,000 Villages in Austin, TX

This is a beautiful shop with a large variety of fair trade items! I love to shop small businesses and this was just the cherry on top. Thank you for bringing these items and making them available to us! We purchased lip balms, soaps, jewelry, trinket dishes, chocolates, etc.

Such a beautiful place! They are a nonprofit store that support artists from everywhere in the world like India, Nepal, etc. The staff are all volunteers and they are really nice. I’ll come back to the store in my next Austin.

Wonderful store of unique gifts where your purchases help change people's lives for the better. Great for holiday or birthday shopping. A nonprofit, the staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful, and now there's lots more parking.

Lots of really great jewelry and clothing and truly interesting stuff, like the poo paper--that's right, paper made from elephant poo--paper.

Fantastic place for gifts and home goods, plus it's Fair Trade to boot!

Peace-filled from the moment I walked in the door. Fair trade store where I bought beautiful art and food items because I loved the items and not from any sense of guilt or obligation. I bought great stuff for our home and as Christmas gifts -- prices ranged from $4.99 to $125. So, no sense of "well, I guess I have to pay more for fair-trade." This store itself is a non-profit and staff are so dedicated that they are volunteers. The store partners with local charities on different nights and donates portion of profits.

10,000 Villages is a delightful shop with gorgeous goods for a great cause. Their jewelry is unique, one-of-a-kind, and beautiful. I bought some cool newspaper earrings that had a conical shape made with small rolled layers. Everywhere you turn, there is a feast for the eyes. Handcrafted soapstone boxes, stationary, jewelry, beaded purses, hand woven scarves, candles. What is also quite surprising is how affordable everything is for such great craftsmanship. I will visit this store for years to come.

Stopped by last Sunday during my last few hours in Austin. LOVELY shop with even lovelier staff, I don't know their names but the two ladies who chatted me up while I bought six or seven souvenirs for friends were a highlight of my whole trip. Thank you for being kind

Very good store of Tibetan and Hindu stuff. Staff is awesome and friendly. Ambience is blissful. Amy is awesome. It's a huge store. If you don't find parking in front, there is extra parking in behind. There is also a door to the shop from behind. Prices are lil high but goods are handmade by someone in other developing countries (that's what they say tho) hence lil expensive. Must visit. Even if you don't buy anything, this store will make you feel good as you enter.

This is a really cool store. Everything in the store is fair trade. If you are looking for gifts this holiday season, I highly recommend finding them at this store. They have crafts from all around the world. You know that you are getting something very unique and original when at this store. I would even recommend giving yourself a gift from here. It's going to be hard to walk in without walking out with something for yourself with so many amazing options to choose from.

Ten Thousand Villages is always worth a visit. The products are of the highest quality, there's something for every taste, and you're supporting justice and ethical trading practices with every purchase. And these stores are always so beautifully put together, with gorgeous displays and beautiful seasonal items! The emphasis is on homewares but there's also a lot of jewellery, some bags and clothing, as well as Fair Trade food like tea, coffee, chocolate, spice, oil, and more. Take a look!

The women owners were super friendly and helpful and I got a really nice tourmaline ring while my boyfriend found a one-of-a-kind handmade African birthday card, definitely worth perusing for some goodies, cards, or gifts.

There is so much to see in this store! I love that they work with cooperatives to help provide decent wages for the workers. I love handmade goods and they have a great selection. There is also Equal Exchange coffee on the house.

Wonderful place. It is a nonprofit that helps promote trade in small villages all over the world. The recycled crafts are very innovative and useful. I love the vibe and will return often.

The staff is so nice! It's a small store, but the products are all worth a look. They should expand the dress and shoe selection, because the prints and fabrics are gorgeous.
