Great selection of clothing and shoes. Really nice brands and it isn’t full of fast fashion items. Have some nice designer bags as well! Everything is fairly priced based on the condition.

There is plenty of selection to pick from without it feeling overwhelming. The sections were organized by size and color and I rarely found items that were in the wrong area/size which was great.

Appreciate their sustainability commitment too by not using bags.

Can’t wait to go back!

This is one of my favorite 2nd hand clothing stores to go to in the area. It is always well organized by size and color. And prices are pretty fair and consistent with what you see at thrift shops nowadays. I never end up leaving empty handed!

So glad that an Uptown Cheapskate opened in Durham! This location is extremely well kept and stoked with all kinds of amazing finds. The staff here were all especially friendly, helpful, and attentive. I'll definitely keep shopping here!

I’d like to say that a high school acquaintance told me about he and his wife’s relationship with this business(don’t want to give names without their approval). However, I am more than happy to say that this location is amazing! Walked in with no expectations and walked out with amazing designer jeans that I spent 34.00 bucks on and they were almost new! I’m on a budget and to have these great finds I’m more than thankful for!!! Thank you 😊 to the amazing people who started this business!!!!

One of the best thrift stores I’ve seen. Affordable prices . Nice & Clean, clothes are on rack, and not hanging off the hanger, nor clothes on the floor. I will definitely be back.

I love this store, both the premise and how clean and well kept it always is. So organized and the young ladies who work there are so kind and professional. One of my favorite shops.

Super cute store, great prices, good clothes. They had a bit of Shein on the racks but it was mixed with Levis and Free People. Hangers were wooden and the whole store felt upscale and smelled amazing. <3

My new favorite store! I love thrifting and typically stay away from consignment because it can be more expensive. However, I found a lot of their prices are the same or actually better than goodwill/habitat during their sales. Plus Uptown has sorted through the clothes already so you don’t have to dig for name brands like you do at thrift stores. I love this place and can’t wait to visit again. I snagged this free people denim romper for $22 and it was the most expensive item I purchased. Employees were also very nice. :)

One of my favorite thrift stores in the area! It’s geared towards younger shoppers, but there’s a great selection of stuff ranging from fast fashion to higher end (like Madewell, J.Crew, and Joie). Super organized and color coordinated. Prices are very reasonable and they have an awesome semi-annual sale (that I’m guilty of splurging on…) as well as great clearance discounts when the sale isn’t on. The staff are super friendly too! Love stopping by after work and school!

Definitely impressed for my first visit! I only sold items but the store had a wide selection of name brand clothes that seemed pretty reasonably priced. Selling was a fast process, associates are friendly and made sure it was smooth. Will definitely be back to sell & buy!

Always love finding cool stuff at the store...and in my head I always feel like I'm getting a good deal cause I'm cheap. Check the store out wherever you are if you don't enjoy it...I owe you a beer, of course if you can figure out who I'm 🤣🤣🤣🍺

I was visiting my son and daughter-in-law. My dil said “let’s check this place out. I have never been before.” We both found nice items. She got shoes, and I got 3 blouses and a dress. Clothing was all clean and stylish. No thrift shop funky smell or having to dig through lots of out dated items. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Yes, it is more expensive than Goodwill, but having a better experience and saving time were worth it.

So many name brand options for reasonable prices I found so many Lulu lemon shorts and free people pieces!!
