Working with MR&RE for our summer rental on Deer Isle was a pleasure and a breeze. We found an incredible property for our family vacation, were able to communicate any questions or concerns about our stay to them directly and easily, and had a wonderful overall experience. The process from booking to leaving the house at the end of our stay was seamless. I will absolutely use them again in the future for our DownEast excursions and will recommend them to friends and family.

Wonderful rental with a very thoughtful and responsive rental agency. We had a few questions early in our stay and Nichole responded very quickly and made sure we had a wonderful vacation. Clean accommodations with all of kitchen utensils we needed for lobster dinners, games and puzzles to keep us amused on a rainy day and a yard for our dog to romp in. We look forward to renting with them again.

They had great communication and we were able to have a true Maine experience on Deer Isle in a unique cozy cottage. Our travel plans changed and we called the after hours number that responded very quickly to make our trip go seemless and arrive a day earlier in beautiful Stonington.

Our three generation family loved Artist’s Retreat! Charming home and gorgeous grounds! We enjoyed swimming and kayaking right from the shore by the house. It was comfortable, quiet and peaceful, and the views from the deck were amazing. Nichole was available to answer our questions. We already plan to return next summer.

This is a great house! We had a small family gathering and this location & facilities were perfect. There is a small private beach which is great for fishing, and the house was very functional. The best feature of the house is the screened in porch...perfect for sitting out and watching the wildlife...big enough to hold the entire party. (My kids actually slept outside on the porch). Great value for the money, would highly recommend.

We have been renting from Nicole and her team for many summers. They have always been very accommodating and quickly respond to any questions we may have. Nicole herself has made rental suggestions when I am undecided as she has taken the time to know exactly what our rental preferences are. The owner is accommodating and understanding! After booking our vacation home, we needed to cancel our trip due to a hurricane making its way to Florida. It was a last minute cancelation but the owner completely understood and gave our family a refund, without a hassle. Even though we did not get to stay at one of her properties yet, it was really nice talking to a real person who actually cared. We hope to make it to Maine soon!
