The atmosphere was delightful, the store is very clean, the workers and fast and efficient.

The bathroom was also very clean, it’s also futuristic in a way.

The food was awesome, I got the takoyaki which is a snack of wheat dough with octopus on the inside and sauce. It was really good, just a little bit savory and very sweet. I would buy it again but I am really looking forward to next week because I’ll get either a waffle with ice cream or the brown sugar ice cream sundae.

I do recommend you check out this place. Aside from the food and ice cream they have a lot of drinks and just overall a lot of variety.

This place is beautiful too, but it's not as spacious as the Metuchen location. It's also usually much more busy, so keep that in mind. The quality of the drinks here is slightly better, but many of the drinks are a bit pricey. However, if you can get all their badges/pins, you can get discounts on future drinks using your special card. My friend does that and she gets about 1-2 off her order every time.

I have tried the Crush drink, and although it's beautiful and pretty it's really a glorified strawberry milkshake that I could easily get better of for half the price in many places.

The brown sugar brulee drink is a classic, but too sweet for me, so I do less ice and sugar (50-70%).

I think Taro is the best here. I do 100% sugar and swap out the milk, as well as add boba to it, and it's pretty good.

Great boba, super accessible for students as well. A bit on the pricier side of boba but worth it. Thai tea is great, has some great milk tea and fruit tea selections too. Some unique ones are the ice cream drinks. Snacks are also delicious including a popcorn chicken boba combo, as well as Taiwan sausage, waffles, tater tots, fries, and takoyaki.

I've always enjoyed Boba Tea, so the fact that Rutgers had one surprised me. The amazing ambient splendor of sunlight and white/cream minimalistic style greets you as you enter. The store includes large screens where you can take orders without saying anything (ideal for introverts). Employees simply shout out your name or order number, and you pick it up. I tried the Brown Sugar Brûlée, and the flavor is wonderful and smooth, especially the brûlée part (I would recommend stirring the brûlée later so it doesn't sit at the bottom). Their restrooms are gender neutral, with an outstanding mirror design for taking photos.

This place is absolutely amazing!!!!! Love the jasmine green tea very refreshing. I also order a fried chicken (sadly I forget to take a pic🙃I realize it after I finish half of my chicken. But I must say tea and chicken makes a great combo.

This tea shop has the best bubble tea I’ve ever had! Highly recommend their brown sugar brûlée - very smooth and not too sweet. The food is also quite delicious. My children are picky eaters, but they loved the chocolate waffle and sausage on skewer there. The shop is clean and modern. Outside of the shop there is a central lawn with a huge TV screen, where people can relax on the chairs and watch a game together. It is a lovely shop with great food in the center of everything. We will definitely revisit soon!

Very great boba, and amazing egg bubble waffles. My bf & I always go about once a week and it’s worth its weight in gold.

They also have a few hot food options, under snacks. I got the spicy waffle fries and they were amazing the best waffle fries I’ve had in my life

Headed to Akihi Bubble Tea after a stressful day at work. Service is awesome .. everyone is very friendly and attentive! Consistency in exceptional service and fantastic food - the prices were incredibly reasonable!

This new boba tea place is heaven. I got the Royal Blueberry Peach tea and the taste was so floral and refreshing, perfect for a really warm day. Their crispy chicken and taiwanese sausage was so delicious. The environment is extremely cozy, came to study and stayed for hours. The customer service was also really good. Everyone was super welcoming, kind, and efficient. Will definitely come back and also bring all my friends. Thank you Akihi!

Would definitely recommend checking this place out. This bubble tea is really yummy, the snacks are great, and the customer service is amazing. This will definitely be my go to spot for bubble tea in New Brunswick. They also have a location in Metuchen that has the same type of relaxed aesthetic. Overall great bubble tea.

I had an amazing time at this boba tea shop! The drinks were delicious (especially the royal blueberry peach tea), and the food was equally fantastic. The cozy environment and stylish decor made it a perfect spot to unwind. Highly recommended!

I recently had the pleasure of visiting this place and I can't express how impressed I am with every aspect of this place.
The bubble tea here is nothing short of exceptional. The quality of the ingredients is evident, it's clear that they take pride in their product. But what truly sets apart is the exceptional service. The staff is not only friendly but also incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. They were more than happy to answer my questions and even offered recommendations based on my preferences. It's rare to find such a level of attentiveness in a casual dining spot.

Was there on the opening day. The bubble tea taste like the old fashioned boba you get from taiwanese bakery shops. Its not too sweet, not too much ice, a good price for a childhood taste. The crispy chicken is indeed crispy, surprisingly hard for some other big chain fast food restaurants (not gonna say names). The taiwanese sausage taste great, however I do think the price for a single sausage is a little high for the size. Overall a great place for college students who wants some simple boba and snacks.

Had a fantastic experience at Akihi! The service was great, and the food was delicious with generous portions. Perfect spot for a quick pick-me-up. Highly recommend.

I came here to study after a long day on campus. This was the only place open until 3 and the atmosphere was very cozy. I was able to focus and also get a nice snack in. The crispy chicken is a must try!

I’ve previously been to the location in Metuchen I’m sooo excited for this location to be open. Their crispy chicken with medium spicy is a MUST HAVE and also the creme brûlée milk tea. They open till 3am which is great when you’re craving for some snacks during the nighttime!

Love their bubble teas very good flavors and their chicken and fries were very flavorful seasoned very well delicious.
