Great place to get your tea fix. We were exploring on a chilly evening and stopped in to warm up with hot tea. The dining area is small, but you can sit. The staff was very friendly and helpful. And of course the tea was perfect. I will definitely be back to try more.

The family and I wanted bubble tea. So we took a quick ride to the next town over and found this place. Utepia is small and away from the busy area of Rutgers. However I absolutely love the decor. It's bright, organized, and easy to order. Because it's small, this place is more of a "grab and go". Their prices are reasonable for the area. Many different flavors and drink options to choose from. The staff were friendly and made suggestions. Will definitely visit again with the family.

AMAZING BUBBLE TEA. THE BERRY FAIRY IS A MUST GET IF YOU LIKE STRAWBERRY. They use real strawberries unlike any other bubble tea store. Tastes amazing. You will not regret this experience.

Excellent cute little local spot which is better than some of the chains. The tea is always excellent and well made and the bubbles are perfect. Lots of variety as well. As a Rutgers student this is well worth the trip to George St. and the bus stop isn't even to far to get back to College Ave. Way better than Akihi!

Mango chunks+mango "milkshake"+coconut milk+tapioca bubbles
Just perfect ...not too sweet yet full of flavor

Brown sugar is a classic! I got the dark oolong with aloe jelly. They are quick in service, make the modifications accurately (even in an online order)
They have cute little seating area inside. There is street parking outside but mostly busy. You can order via kiosk.

While eating lunch at a nearby restaurant we saw people walk by with bubble tea & did a search for one. I found utepia & they have some unique flavors & drinks I haven't tried before so had to make a stop. The brown sugar bubble tea was delicious & the watermelon slushy was good. I like that they have a card to stamp your purchases & give something when it's full. Nice people that work there.

The most real fruit I've had in a boba drink since the time I ordered a grapefruit tea in Tokyo in 2005 and they gave me the most pure, unsweetened grapefruit juice and pulp.

I ordered the grapefruit passion four season tea (light ice, light sugar) and it's *perfect*. Extremely flavorful without being too sweet or with no sweetness at all. There's tons of actual grapefruit and slices of lime.

My spouse got mango passion oolong and there's just chunks of mango and fresh mango juice in it. It's very sweet and overpowers the tea somewhat but that's just me, he's happy with it.

My only wish is that the dessert menu was more clearly posted.

Such a cute boba cafe! This was a great find as I stumbled upon it while I was on vacation. I tried the mango passion oolong tea with boba and it was pretty spot on. Will definitely be stopping by the next time I travel to NJ

Definitely the best bubble tea shop I’ve been to - where the drinks actually taste like tea, rather than an exuberant amount of sugar. Flavors are amazing, and I really enjoy how the toppings are always unique and additional to the tea rather than overpowering.

A cute little boba spot hidden away on the side street. Cute pikachu figures as decor. Great boba choices for a very good price. Would one hundred percent recommend stopping by here if you have a chance.

Now for my standard comments of as December 2023. Location is very small but kept clean. A few areas to sit but mostly a grab and go spot.

Small tea shop but friendly staff. Only got to try the brown sugar bubble tea. I like this one more compared to the CoCo tea, Kung Fu Tea, and Gong Cha. Prices are on par with other bubble tea shops. There are three seats on the side but more of an order and go shop than hang out inside the shop. It’s near one of my favorite ramen shops… Ramen Nagomi.

Cute small space to get bubble teas. You can either order at the front or there’s a kiosk to the side where you can place an order. There’s very little seating, it’s more of a grab and go place. They provide a variety of teas to choose from! Worth going to!

Undoubtedly, the best place in town for bubble tea. I got Brown Sugar Bubble tea this time. It was cold, sweet and refreshing with just enough sugar. The tea was just strong enough, and the boba completed the whole thing and brought the flavors together. Overall, one of the best milk teas I’ve ever tasted.

This is my favorite boba place, and I’ve tried WAY too many boba places. I’m rarely in the area but I always come here when I can.

I’ve been going here since they first opened and can confirm it’s the best boba shop in town. I love the chilled mango pomelo with white boba.
