Chaotic Good: Coffee, Comics and Games

We had the most amazing experience here! I had an hour, and I had to kill when my daughter was down the street at artworks. We walked in the door it's just a very warm atmosphere everybody seem to be having a great time. They have game tables going on all over people drinking coffee it was just the perfect setting. We ordered the flight of iced lattes and were able to pick the floor flavors we wanted, and they were wonderful!

The best part of our night was the awesome "Mom" that was working and served us. We had a little one with us, and she heard us tell her she couldn't have the coffee. So she brought a small warm chocolate with lots of whipped cream on it! It was a precious effort above and beyond to make her night.

Chaotic Good is excellent coffee, service, and fun!!

I went in the morning to try the coffee. I had cappuccino and it was very tasty. The barista will do latte art if you ask. See the included picture. You can get carry out cups or mugs for dine in. There was plenty of free parking in the parking lot around the side of the building. There is no parking allowed on the street in front, however. This is not a ace you go to get your 6 AM coffee on the way to work. Most of the customers come in during the evening for the role-playing games. University students are a large portion of the clientele.

The place is cool and fun for hangouts and games. It has a decent collection of comic books, games and merchandise. The atmosphere is lively and the decor is pretty good. However, the drinks are kind of average compared to the overall setting of the place. I would consider this as a go-to spot for conversation or light work but not for the coffee itself.

Me and my roommate absolutely love this place. It has become like my favorite coffee shop. I have a Starbucks and a sweet little coffee shop next to me and I still drive 5 to 6 minutes out just for coffee here almost every day.

What a fun place! The drinks and food were great, the owners were super nice, the retail side was well stocked (with a great selection of unique dice!). Plenty of seating, and several tables are intentionally long enough for an entire gaming group. Great place to chat with friends, or host your next TTRPG campaign.

Started coming here a couple of weeks after it opened. The atmosphere is immaculate, the drinks are great, and the folks are all super personable and nice. They’ve got D&D one-shots every week, and events pretty regularly. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a laid-back and inclusive place to play some board games/TTRPGs, or even just a spot to hang out.

We attended a birthday party here, and it was awesome!! They provided a charcuterie board for a very reasonable price and charged nothing for a huge table. The kids were able to game and eat and enjoy themselves.

They also carry hand made dice, gorgeous hand made dice bags, and tons of awesome little knick knacks for gaming of all sorts. They have a cute coffee bar, and I'm super excited to go back and check out the store again.

Chaotic good is an absolute gem of a store. They take the classiness that you would expect from a nice coffee shop and bring it through to their gaming side of the store as well. They offer free table reservations for your gaming and studying needs, extremely reasonably priced coffee, and have a wide assortment of free games to play on store. This is by far the best in-store gaming experience I've ever seen and I can't recommend them enough!

Chaotic Good is such an amazing place for the veteran and novice game player alike! The atmosphere is so welcoming to all who walk in. The owners, Jim, Alex, and Marian greet you as soon as you walk in (if they're not playing games with customers to show them how) and you immediately feel like you belong! The coffee side is also delicious, and they're happy to make a suggestion if you would like. You can also roll some die and have them decide for you! If you are anywhere near the downtown Lexington area, be sure that you stop in to see the shop!!

This place was great. Good prices! Relaxed atmosphere. a large selection of free games to play and buy. Nice furniture. I enjoy the fact that they have theme nights. I will go back next time I’m in town

You can truly see how much the owners care. So many great games for family and gamers alike. A very inviting atmosphere and the staff is all kind and accommodating.

I got a chance to go for a DnD one-shot night, lucked out and had Jim, an owner, be our DM. This place is great, from the board game selection for sale, the coffee drinks, and genuine enthusiasm the staff have for their jobs, it is an all around great vibe.

Yes it's very nerdy, but noone exhibited any of the gate-keeping or sexist attitudes that are the stereotype(and reality) for many a game shop.

Tables can be reserved for gaming groups that want to use the space. There is a large shelf of minis available for use in games, local artists have their wares for sale.

This is a place for playing games with your friends at a big big table. The atmosphere is wonderful and they let you borrow the figurines and board games while you are there. Free pencils and great lattes!

One of my favorite coffee shops in Lexington! The owners/staff are super kind and helpful. I love their role for coffee chart! I can come in grab coffee sit there. The environment is enough that I can carry on a private conversation but I can also watch other things going on or play games.

BTW these are their Star Wars Day drinks!

This is my current favorite place to play games. Not a huge space but a welcoming and inclusive crowd. The Manager is friendly, and they have regularly scheduled events. If you wanna get back into DnD with a one shot, have a place to play a board game with friends, or just want a coffee I cannot recommend more.

This is such a fun place with great vibes, but the standout was the wonderful and kind staff!

It's about the atmosphere. The food was good, the coffee was good, the atmosphere was great. Nice comfy couches. I would like some sun shades on the windows, though. Will be back

Wonderful place to gather friends, have a date, with delicious snacks and drinks too! Student discount also available! Also great place to study on the weekdays.

Went on may 4th and got the batha blue milk macchiato! It was FANTASTIC! They even had Star Wars playing on a projector and music from the franchise. Highly recommend this place. My friends and I will definitely be returning
