Academy Sports + Outdoors

I was not the one shopping today my son and his children were looking for a gift for Mom for Christmas (Academy is there favorite store as they are a total sports family) the manager approached my son and gave him $100 gift card!!!!! What a wonderful blessing and gift!! They are a family of 7 so it meant very much to my son ..I just want to share on this Christmas Eve day ...Merry Christmas ⛄

Pleasant store. I mostly buy ammunition there, but their stock is pretty low. I reckon that's everywhere. I normally don't go at peak times so checkout is usually pretty quick 👍👍

Went here for one thing and wound up getting several. Great selection! Great prices! Even more importantly it has items in stock😁😁 Nothing worse than needing something and it's not there. The staff was friendly and helpful and the cashier was quick.

Always have sales somewhere, the store is always clean. Organized so well I get in and out with ease. What a schematic 🤌🏻 On top of that the employees here are awesome! Friendly, helpful, kind.. sadly this is hard to find these days so when I do I appreciate it!

I drive from my smaller town to Academy when I need certain bass fishing equipment that I just can't find in town. Yes I could order the stuff but I enjoy looking around. They also have handguns so basically all of the fun stuff! Definitely recommend if you need anything sports related from fishing, hunting and camping to Golf and Basketball.

Love getting ammo & shirts from Academy. Also, I found some really cute outfits for my toddler niece that was on sale.

Great selection and prices. I use my Academy card for most purchases and save even more.

Was in the Kannapolis store today and a young customer service guy helped me with an exchange. His name is Carson. He was very professional, knowledgeable and helpful with my transaction. Great Job Carson!!

Not sure the employees name but he is always straight up with me about prices and if the item is worth the price. And has even referred me to Amazon for better quality and prices. Good looking out bro!!

Nice store with broad selection of sporting needs. This includes hunting and fishing which a lot of other commercial sporting stores have gotten out of for political correctness reasons. I always find what I'm looking for here and unfortunately I usually find other things that I end up buying. Great selection for bbqing and smoking as well as food processing. Only one checkout open which was bad

Two days in a row, I placed a curbside pickup order. The first day the item was at my car in about 3-minutes. The second day I arrived 20-minutes before they opened and got my order in about 7-minutes, still before they opened. I'm very impressed with the service, and the products I bought! Typically a curbside pickup tries to stay within a 10-minute window although I was going to allow 20-minutes. Great job staff!

I have always had good luck shopping here. They've taken care of every issue I've had with any of their products.

First time visit in the store and I must say I was totally impressed. I bought two bicycles for children's Christmas and they put them together the next day for me at no charge. What a wonderful reminder of days gone by. To find someone that puts bicycles together as a courtesy is remarkable at best. It's nearly unheard of for some company to put bikes together these days. The young man that assisted us was very, very knowledgeable and courteous. One day when I have more time I'm going back to that store. The kindness and respect given to the customer is something to be admired to say the least! Merry Christmas!
