If you're ever near Berlin, Maryland or heading to Assateague Island, be sure to stop at Buck's Place. Our new favorite 5 Star Dive Bar. It's at the corner of rt. 611 and Assateague rd. They have everything you need but not at tourist trap prices.

Do not let the outdoor appearance fool you. The restaurant here is delicious!!! The crabcakes are amazing!! There is something for everyone here!!! You can also learn about the BIG FOOT that roams around these parts. This is a must stop!!

This place has it all for your outdoor experience. The staff is amazing and you can be sure they are trust worthy. No joke they look out for you and will tell you if you do or don't need something during your outings. I will make this a mandatory stop headed to the beach every time. 20/10 will definitely recommend!!!!

Everything you need! From lottery, great food,bait,booze, great people they have it all!! The best Five star dive bar!!! Super clean too!

Love this place, we make sure to stop in there every time we go to assateague. Small place, but they carry a lot of different camping , fishing gear and beach supplies. If you forget something, that's the place to go, they have a bit of everything. It's nice to have a place like that close by if you lose some tent stakes, or an entire tent,lol. It is super close inconvenient to the shoreline and they have food there as well and it was yummy, although I need to sample more. The staff is the best part of it - very friendly and helpful.

Fun, friendly place to try local crab! Thanks to local, "Nip" who taught us how to eat these critters for all they're worth!

The store manager treated my son, whim has autism, with great kindness and respect. He said a friend and neighbor had a son with autism. Prices were affordable. They make great breakfast sandwiches. They made my son's special because he does not eat it as a sandwich. We bought wood, food, bait and souvenirs here.

This is a one place has all kind of store. They have just about everything you need to go fishing, and then carry the stuff you may have forgotten for camping on the beach as well. I didn't try the food they had there but is smelled delicious. I definitely would recommend everyone in the area to stop by and check them out, and you'll probably walk out of the store with something.

Nice family run place. Everything from bait for fishing/crabbing to t-shirts. Restaurant has good food, all-u-can eat crab specials (in season). Great fried chicken. Convenient place to stop and load up for a day on Assateague.

My go-to place for bait, ice, food, snacks and any fishing gear I might have forgotten, while enroute for a day of fishing on the Assateague Island National Seashore!

Stopped in prior to fishing. Grabbed some misc tackle and some fresh alewives. The folks working were friendly and they had everything I needed. Will make a point to stop in each time I head down to the beach.

Always have what you need and the breakfast is a must. We camp on the island every year and I would always recommend Buck's to anyone I met! I even forgot a bag of ice and didn't know it until I was at our site. I turned around and explained what had happened to them when I arrived. The young lady working the counter told me it was no big deal and said to grab one. I know it may not seem like a big deal but where I am from you would not be allowed to get another without paying for it.

Another fun visit to Buck's. We had steamed shrimp and crab cakes. The karaoke was enjoyable. Bridget and Mickey sure do know how to treat people. See you in the spring!

We were vacationing at Assateague from out of state. My family wanted to try some fishing. They were very helpful. They ended up setting us up with gear to catch blue crab!

Always stop here when visiting Assateague island. Have everything you'll need for the beach and the food is always good the beer always cold and the folks always friendly.

A great place to stop on the way to Assateague Island. They have everything you could possibly need from food ice and drinks to bait and tackle (even fresh bait when its available. Super friendly and helpful people, great food, great service and reasonable prices!
