Café Gío

Really good food at reasonable prices. We got some chili soup that was so delicious I had to go back for seconds haha. Good place for a quick snack while exploring the museum!

Inside the art museum — sweet staff. There was a mistake with our bagel order and so they gave us a new one while keeping the wrong one. Very very sweet and apologetic hospitality. Was clean when we went on a Saturday afternoon.

Grain bowl was great - not overly salty, sweet or overly dressed. Was actually nice to split.

Great drip coffee! Surprised at how good it was for a small museum cafe. Menu was easy to read. Great fruit and snack options.

The room's color is just all white, so it can feel like you're inside a psychiatric asylum. For a small room, I think they have too many tables, so it can feel unnecessarily cramped and hard to walk through.

Still give 5 stars cause I'm still blown away from their drip coffee! Maybe it's just placebo, but I won't question it!

Awesome vegan choices

My parents and I stopped in for a quick bite and coffee before visiting the Denver Art Museum. This cafe is at the main entrance of the museum to the north side of the campus. My mom and I shared a smoked salmon sandwich while my dad enjoyed a turkey sandwich. The coffee hit the spot. The cafe was set up very much cafeteria style in terms of bussing your own tables and getting water from the shared tap. It worked for us so we could spend more time in the museum and not waiting on table service. If you're looking for a quick bite with no frills before or after hitting the museum, give Cafe Gio a try!
