My 3rd time patronizing Mazama in the past few weeks looking for Worms for my Vermiculture project & find them especially Sean Hartman very helpful and professional. The customer service is top notch and I appreciated that very much . Good vibes all around.

Never been there before. Sales people were right there to answer all my questions after they answered my questions they backed away gave me some space to look at different things and make my decision . When I was ready to check out they was right there.
Great first experience with Mazama and it won't be the last. Highly recommend

First time I went in there, about 3 years ago, I was inquiring about the process of purchasing a suppressor. One of the guys behind the counter spent a good hour chatting with me about the whole process, while knowing full well that I had no intention of buying anything that day.

Fast forward to today: I had previously purchased a CETME-LC and upon test firing it was mildly disappointed that it failed to eject almost every single time. Some googling showed similar experiences. The CETME (a roll-delayed-blowback action) requires quite a bit of break-in and generally prefers HEAVY loads. I mentioned that I was having trouble with my CETME to one of the guys behind the counter and he immediately knew why this is happening, spoke knowledgeably about the CETME operating system and pretty much confirmed my suspicions about the care and feeding of the weapon system.

Between these two times I have been in there many times, making several purchases and have been treated fairly and with respect every single time.

In summary: good selection, knowledgeable and friendly staff, not pushy with great customer service.

Well I lost track of how many times I've been in this place, too bad they don't offer punch cards! I always find the staff helpful and the customer service is exemplary. I have bought several firearms related items and been satisfied every single time. There isn't a single person staff member that I haven't been satisfied with. Prices are competitive, stock is usually pretty well. COVID has made every ones stock pretty much disappear. This place is one of the few gun/ fishing related stores in Eugene so support them well!

Great store, amazing alternative to the corporate so-and-so's. Staff is underpaid, especially the ones who have extreme expertise and dedication to their craft.

I've shopped here a number of times, the staff has always been helpful and receptive. In particular, the gunsmith Erik McCluskey helped me build my AR. I had spent ~a year specing out each part and exhaustively researching each part. Over half of the parts I had purchased online, but he was totally cool with it. I believe that people bring in all types of stuff to the build table at mazama's. Erik walked me through every little step and made sure everything was perfect. He was very complementary of what I had picked out, reassuring me that everything was going to work together. This wasn't a milspec build, everything was upgraded. The upper/lower/handguard/buffer were all Aero Enhanced, CMC trigger, Hogue grip, BA Henson .223wyld stainless barrel, and a push button safety switch. Despite all being good quality name brand stuff, the barrel needed some polishing to fit into the upper. I'm so glad I didn't try to put together myself at home, because this would've stopped me dead in my tracks. Erik shrugged and took it in the back and had it ready to slide in, within minutes. All in all, my experience was really positive, and my rifle is perfect. I've run ~500rds through it with zero problems. I'd have shot more but ammunition is tricky to find right now with all this covid madness. This is the first gun I've ever built, but certainly not the last. I'm already picking out parts for a pistol build.

These guys are hands down the best in town. Mazama’s offers an amazing selection of sporting goods. But it’s not their amazing selection that warrants the five star rating, it’s the exceptional level of service they provide. They always answer my questions and are perhaps the most helpful, wonderful people I have ever met. Thank you Mazama’s for your phenomenal customer service, great prices, and fantastic selection. I will be a lifetime customer!

They have amazing customer service and all kinds of cool things most sporting goods stores don't carry. There staff is very helpfull and knowledgeable about guns. There prices are very affordable compared to most places in Eugene and Springfield.

Excellent selection of firearms and fishing gear! Started surf fishing this year and they had everything in stock! They had had some trolling gear I've never seen before - will be going back to look at again! 5.56 ammo was in sale too!

These guys are the best! First off they have been around for over 50 years. The building is recently renovated and immaculate. They treated me with the utmost courtesy and respect. They gave me honest, forthright advice and quickly took care of the bg check. In a shrinking market supply, they still have a huge selection. I wish all companies took lessons from Mazama. They're customer service is the best. Shipping is incredibly fast. And they actually answer the phone and can answer questions about the products they sell.

These guys are great, plain and simple! When I had issues buying a handgun based on background delays they informed me of the route I should take. After doing as such I am able to purchase firearms now. Thank you Ryan and your amazing team of employees. See ya again soon!

Always fair prices, helpful and attentive staff, and the products that I need. If they don't have it, they'll get it. It doesn't hurt that they're so close to my house. The best shop around is my friendly neighborhood Mazamas. See you fellas soon, as always

Changed my review from 2 to 5 stars. The guy who helped me in the beginning I found out no longer works there. Probably because of his attitude. Nothing but great service from there on forward. Seems to be good people running it now. Thanks for the better experience this time around.

Staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and able to assist you. If they don’t have what you need in an otherwise well stocked store they will look around and let you know if there is any availability elsewhere. I have been pleased each time I shop there, whether guns, ammo, or targets. Great selection. Prices seem fair in the current climate.
