One of my favorite gift shops! They sell some really fun things- stained glass, clothes, cards, and much more.

Absolutely adore this little gift shop! Located right in the heart of Davis Square, it’s easy to walk right past but DO NOT!

They have all sorts of gift items from jewelry, tea, felt work, baby items, body products, pins, and more. They also have a great selection of unique cards. You can’t leave here without wanting something or finding the perfect gift for someone else.

I think I just found a new destination when searching for that perfectly unique gift (especially for the person who already has everything)...

PS. Staff are so friendly!

Well-curated and nicely presented. The staff is large, so most employees don't know much about individual items/makers (e.g., jewelry materials, which are often unlabeled). Regardless it's always a pleasure to browse and pick up gifts. I hope this shop pulls makes it through and continues to stick around.

The most lovely shop with the most lovely employees. I ordered my husband’s Christmas gift over the phone and they packed it up for me with tissue paper and everything. They make it easy to shop local and support small businesses and makers. Thank you!

I can’t believe how long it took me to discover this shop, but I’m glad I did. Local and well-curated shop, with incredible selection of gorgeous craft goods, home goods, and print crafts. Excellent place to buy gifts for your queer and feminist fam while supporting a local independent crew.

Did you ever wonder what Etsy would be like in real life? Wonder no more, my friend. While other Davis Square stores might have some similar style quirky gifts, i I feel like no other store than Magpie is really servicing an actual "handmade" feel. Similar to the punk rock flea market or the Bizarre Bazaar, only year round, Magpie has a gift you'll guarantee your recipient will be surprised over.

Need a last-minute indie gift for that wedding, birthday or upcoming holiday? Magpie is your store.

This small, whimsical shop is located right in the heart of Davis Square and remains to be my favorite place to shop for my quirky friend set. Inside you'll find shelves upon shelves of handmade items: bicyclist-themed coasters, indie t-shirts for babies, remade vintage jewelry, and more. The selection of screen prints, drawings and art is especially impressive; I recommend taking a look at poster-sized infographics like 'The Illustrious Omnibus of Superpowers #2' from from Pop Chart Lab in Brooklyn, NYC. It's super informative. For those of you looking for locally made treasures, Magpie also has several bell jar terrariums made by a staff member. I purchased one myself this summer. Happy to report it's beautiful — and thriving!

Looking for a gift that's a little different? Or maybe you just wanna treat yo' self. Either way, Magpie's got you covered. There's a wide selection with a range of price points to match, from baby stuff to handmade jewelry to smart-assed mugs to quirky notecards you won't find in Hallmark. Be sure to check the back alcove for quirky little prints to hang in your nest, too.

So come on, skip the mall and buy local!

This is a cute little shop to get unique gifts for friends. If it's to crowded, it's hard to move around. Many of the artists who sell their items are local.

The best place for local handmade goodies. You'll find everything for everyone in your life. A go to for gifts but be prepared to walk out with something for yourself, too. :)
