Just about the best small deli we’ve ever found. We were staying across the road and couldn’t quite believe our luck when we found this place. The whole front is a huge stack of gorgeous fresh fruit and veg, which look and smell amazing. If you happen to pass by with no intention of eating, it’s very hard not to stop and buy something once your senses get involved. Inside there’s all the groceries you could need and a deli area where they sell freshly cooked chicken and fish and all manner of lovely hot food.

This place has a lot of choices, but I actually ate in the falafel station which is in side of Oliva Organic.

Deli and a supermarket you can find everything from fruit to on the spot sandwiches. They sell the fruit in a very good price.

Fantastic local deli serving everything from salad bowls, wraps, fresh vegetables and fruit, bakery products, coffee and fresh juices plus a loaf of dried goods and groceries. We stayed in Jersey City for a week and did most of our food shopping here. Friendly staff, opens early and late closing. Why can't we have an Oliva in our neighbourhood??

Very fairly priced for being a gourmet grocery store. The employees are always kindly asking if I need help/attentive. The overall feel of the grocery store however is just so lovely, I can’t quite explain it. The music is always really mesmerizing and it makes me want to just stay in the store however long?
Lovely overall establishment. 10/10 recommend popping in if you briefly want to feel like a main character.

Stopped by to see what their fruit selection was - hoping for some reasonably priced bananas for breakfast. I am not from Jersey City and was expecting high prices.

I was pleasantly surprised that the prices were very reasonable. Also got some cut mixed fruit...was fresh and was happy with the purchase.

Came back another morning to pick up a few more things to eat. Both times the cashier (different each time) was friendly. I was in and out with no hassle - and that is the perfect experience.

I think the pricing for produce is really good here! My last stop I is able to get 4 produce items under $5 dollars... something that would have doubled if I bought someplace else. I also enjoy the hot/cold food bar. I believe Oliva is Greek based so you can get good Mediterranean food.

A little shop that packs a surprising variety of options. A limited selection of meats and fish is balanced out with very reasonable prices, and their wide range of produce is equally well-priced. Dry goods and dairy can run on the expensive side, but they also have a nice large selection of prepared foods (chicken/pasta salads, grilled chicken breasts or salmon filets, olives, veggies, etc) for an on-the-go lunch or dinner. Underrated gem is the octopus salad you can get in a small container. If there's one knock against Olivia's, it's a lack of fresh herbs available for purchase, but that's a problem common to supermarkets in this area too.

I love this newish market. It’s super cute and clean. They have amazing prepared foods from what I’ve experienced so far. The staff is friendly. They even have reasonable prices on organic milk. I haven’t found anything not to love yet. Oh, I know we were told this was gonna be an Amish Market, but I’m guessing it’s the same company, different concept? When I shop at Oliva, it appears as Amish Market on my bank statement. Anywho, this place is quality.

Most reliable little market with smoothies and stuff. They open early which is amazing because they are the only place to get a smoothie or juice before work. Their produce is always fresh and the prices are def fair. If you have ever been to jersey city chain grocery stores you will revel in this produce lol it’s so much better.

And bonus they had plenty of toilet paper and disinfectant spray when everyone went crazy and it was wonderful

Their hot bar is amazing. Some of the best chicken and lamb I have ever had. So many amazing imported goods too. I am so happy Oliva came to my neighborhood.

They have a nice selection of boutique groceries with all the right components to throw together an antipasto platter. I love going there at lunch for a fresh juice and chicken sub.

Great people here! I left my wallet on counter and didn't know it was missing for 24 hours. They kept it safe. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Without ID it would have been difficult to fly home. I'll make sure my son shops there often!!!

honestly, smaller than other grocery stores but best organic fruits and veges on a budget. Also their prepped small dishes are amazing. So cheap as well 10/10

This place is amazing! My family absolutely loves their spicy crab meat salad. If you ever find yourself near by, you should definitely stop in.

Love this place!!! Super tasty quinoa bowls and salmon!!! Very good selection of organic veggies and fruits! Bakery goods are really good as well!! Chicken Gyro is also tasty and fresh.

Great selection of fruit and produce. Hot bar and salad selection is very good and the staff is very friendly. It’s a small market, where you can find anything you need . The seating area on the second floor is very convenient.

Fantastic selection and decently priced. I haven't purchased anything from here I didn't end up liking. The staff is very attentive and fast with check outs.

Always good experience, good service and good selection. Cool upstairs dining area (before 2020) not sure if they still have it open. Miss the hot food section ☺ please bring it back if possible in the future.
