The finished piece came out Great!!! The entire experience was personalized with a high level of detailed attention. I worked with Tom and it was clear that he actually cared about the look and preservation of the work. Being able to worked with a single person throughout the process attributed to the success of the finished product.

I brought in an original newspaper article that commemorated one of my wife’s accomplishments. It was the only copy that I had and was concerned with the safety of the piece. It was a more complex job that required multiple layers, intricate spacing, and since it was a surprise gift for her a look that she would find acceptable for the style of our home. Everything about the process was advised on by Tom from the glass used to prevent fading down to the glue used to mount the image. He actually listened to my concerns which paid off in a big way!

As is with the nature of custom projects that involve many details, information can gets lost in translation. Due to the trimmed articles not having page numbers the studio mounted them in the wrong order. Since I had expressed my concerns about preservation at the start, Tom recommended that we use the same type of glue used by museums to preserve historical documents. Because of his care and foresight to the needs of the project they were able to quickly correct the issue without any damage and no additional cost.

The final product looked great, the materials were high quality, and the process was individually catered. This business and their staff accomplished everything you should expect from a high end custom service.

FrameStore helped me turn a gorgeous painting from a dear friend into a museum worth stunner. Every bit of the experience was fun and with so much care. Can't speak highly enough of the professionalism and craftsmanship at FrameStore! I'm an artist working in a unique medium and my work presents interesting challenges with framing not the least of which is extremely delicate handling. John has on multiple occasions provided his expert opinion on style choices, brainstormed additional modifications to make the pieces shine in their new frames, and worked on very tight turnaround deadlines. I recently had a picture reframed here as the old frame and hanging wire came apart and broke. Tom was very friendly & accommodating while also offering great guidance and opinions to give it an upgrade since I liked it so much and didn’t want to toss it in the trash. I recently took a lithograph to the Frame Store for custom matting and framing. It was a Christmas present for my daughter and son-in-law who recently had our first grandchild. I worked with both Tom and Maria and I can’t say enough wonderful things about how caring, knowledgeable, and professional they were throughout my experience with them! It turned out even better than I imagined and they even called me to say it was ready a day before the date promised! I was very very impressed and would not hesitate to bring more artwork to them in the future!!! I highly recommend them to anyone who has need of their services!

I had a great time getting a large print framed. Zachary was amazing to work with. He patiently walked through the entire design process and regularly followed up with me each step of the way during the actual framing. I'm very happy with the work.

These guys do fantastic work. In my case it began with some very thoughtful and creative design work. The person who helped me, Maria, was a very experienced professional. She had great ideas on each of my 3 items, but she also took the time to listen to me, and she modified the recommendations to incorporate my inputs. She was exceptionally detail oriented in the way that she translated the entirety of our session into the work order. The final product is better than I could have hoped for, confirming that the back office is as well run as the front. I would definitely recommend these people to a friend, and I'd use them again if I get the opportunity.

PERFECTION! I had purchased a piece of artwork that needed framing and we had the opportunity to work with Tom. We are typically pretty good at figuring out our design needs but framing can be more of a sophisticated effort than you’d think. Tom helped us select the perfect frame for our piece. When he analyzed the art, his perspective really called out things we didn’t see or notice. So when he provided some options, we all agreed on one in particular that seemed to really complement the artwork.

We received our framed art in less than a week and it’s PERFECT! The right frame and glass does so much and we can’t stop staring at our new piece. Super happy!

Excellent, timely and professional service with great results. Maria was fantastic at walking me through the options, the pricing and pulling together different options for how to frame each project. Could not be happier with the way the projects look. In addition both projects came back ahead of when they were promised.

Calling ahead for an appointment is a great idea as it will keep you from sitting and waiting if someone else is being helped.

I drove from Long Beach to get a painting framed because of their high ratings on Yelp. I think it is important to go to a frame store who have people who love art and what they do. The employees did a beautiful job framing my dads military uniform for his funeral. The material was delicate and falling apart due to age and use, and they carefully arranged it in a beautiful frame. They also were so kind to work within our budget.

I brought Zachary a custom canvas painting with an odd size and together we managed to find a beautiful frame for it. I highly recommend the frame store in in Hermosa Beach. Zachary's professional and does a great job and I highly recommend him.

Jenny was the absolute greatest. She provided suggestions and feedback, and made the best decision for my piece. I felt comfortable to rely on her eye. She followed up so promptly, and I was shocked that my turn around time was six calendar days when I was expecting two weeks! My piece looks great, and they provided a complementary wire hanging kit installed as a standard treatment. I will be back with my next framing need. Picked up from Jim who was also fantastic.
