A fisherman’s store! I could have wandered around in there for a long time. Lots of selection lure wise, a good “used” rod/reel selection as well as some really high end new equipment. Owner was friendly as were the fellas who seemed to be just hanging out.
Shop locally and support a local businesses. No reason with a shop like this any fisherman would need to visit a box store. Wish we had a shop like this in Austin.

John and the staff went out of their way to help me with a new reel order. John was not satisfied until I was satisfied.

In addition, because I had trouble dialing in the setting on a bait casting reel I had bought from them late last year, one of the staff showed me how to set it up correctly.

He put that reel on a rod, made adjustments for a 1/2 oz jig he put on the line, then took it outside where he cast into the wind. It hit the ground after sailing a respectable distance with no backlash whatsoever. I had brought the reel in to sell due to the trouble I had with backlash.

Needless to say, I did not end up selling that reel. I am super happy with the service I received today, and appreciate the way I was treated.

I've been fishing almost 32 years now and for the 1st time in my life I have a minnow bucket that has yet to have a floater and I got the minnows yesterday! Great quality fishing bait, service and helpful, friendly staff! Highly recommend these guys for any fishing need! A+++
