A neighborhood store with the basics.... is my review from 2 years ago.

2023.12.31 New review: I enjoy going to Save A Lot far more than the Fresco Y Mas across the street from me! I am so thankful for the store in my neighborhood.

Super clean, great prices, friendly service. Mark was particularly awesome, give that guy a raise!

I visited the N. Armenia Store on 6/24/2021 the check out cashier Joyce was rude and sarcastic and needs to be properly trained and to treat all customers the same not a select group/ethnicity. Continuing the store was very clean. Today's cashier and store personnel were very helpful, friendly and professional.

Amazing staff. Amazing prices. Amazing stock. I love this place. The cashier Henry the most friendly person in the store. Not to mention the manager Ezequiel is one of the most helpful and knowledgeable people ever. If I ever have trouble finding something he knows exactly where it is. Amazing store.

Clean, with nice wide aisles, and friendly and helpful staff. It was my first time in a Save A Lot and I was impressed. Great selection of products and very inexpensive. I think this will be my new "go to" grocery store.

I get in, I get out in a flash. This store is well kept and organized. The cashiers are always cordial. Clean and accessible restrooms for each gender. They sell adult beverages too.

Much better to shop in without those annoying "quarter to use" carts (that come along with vagrants chasing you for change in the parking lot.) Happy that seems to be over. ** FYI it would be cheaper to have only security at the door that could also keep track of carts instead of buying those AND needing security to run off the pan handlers.

I absolutely love this place. I spent under $25 and walked out with two BIG bags of groceries. So affordable and this location is huge. They are in an old Walgreens store and it is clean and sanitized. Definitely recommend and will be going back!!!

It was a very smooth shopping, Nice customer Service and fast cashiers

Staff is always friendly and helpful. Cash back is also always available which is really helpful for those who need quick cash with little to no fees. Only $.03 to get cash bag which is only needing to purchase a three cent bag and getting up to $50 bucks cash back.

My good friend Coco works at Save-A-Lot they have good prices sometimes but the hamburger meat they have lost their mind how much hamburger meat is

Pretty much do 90% of our biweekly shopping here, I can find almost everything we need here and the few items I can’t find I just pick up at Walmart which thankfully isn’t too far away. I don’t understand people’s issues with the carts and shopping bags 😂 I have 10 reusable cloth bags and 4 freezer bags, saves money and plastic on the long run, and if you put the cart back you get your quarter back; it just sounds like lazy customers to me. I do feel bad for the guy working checkout (I don’t remember his name) because it seems like every time I go he’s the only one running a lane, and the line starts getting backed up.

Love this store! Clean. Well stocked. The staff is always friendly and helpful! One of my favorite places to shop for basic items. 👍

This is a newer location. Store is awesome and so is the staff. Clean, modern and updated. There's so much fresh produce, meats, and all kinds of goodies at reasonable prices. Kudos Save A Lot

5 star for me very clean and speedy. Nice and organized food is perfectly stock . If I can complain about one thing would be the sliding door entrance they are very small to walk through wish they can be wider.

Ok...so my pandemic hobby it seems is to go shopping late in the evening and since it is deemed entertainment, i have no loyalty as to where... But this savealot site is different. I walked through 2 long full overstocked aisles of goya items i had never ever seen before....anywhere.
Store was well stocked and there were 2 other customers. All masked. Check out lady was tired but kind. Don't forget to bring bags!

, I like Save-A-Lot. I've been shopping save a lot about 22 years. I usually go to the one on West Hillsborough avenue. I'm a creature of habit. But I was in a hurry this day so I stopped at this little one here on the corner of MLK and Armenia. This store it used to be a Walgreens sometime ago. But they changed it into a Save-A-Lot. It was okay store, the prices are reasonable, and they have really good customer service

I love everything about Sav A Lot! The fresh produce, the free bags, the customer service, and their smoothies! Sav A Lot is awesome!

They need to clean up outside and get the groceries cart cleaned and in proper use. But found everything I needed and the site was very clean. My cashier was wonderful.
