Lake Bomoseen Cafe

Warm hometown feeling (even though we're seasonal visitors to the Lake) as it's decorated with awesome photos of the local youth from surrounding towns along with beautiful model ships that my daughter loved. Very friendly patrons there (hometown feel), welcoming staff, including the cooks peeking out to see how things were going and to say hi. Starter salads were fresh and tastey, amazing warm rolls served (I wanted 5 more 😋), and I went with the oven baked haddock, which was a delightful dish and my first time having that fish. My wife enjoyed a very nice helping of oven fried shrimp with linguine.

All and all, it was better than I was expecting and definitely worth checking out and supporting local.

(And no, it's not a coffee shop)

Great food, generous portions, very welcoming hospitality, well worth stopping here for a great meal when in town, Roy and the crew go the extra mile to make sure your dining experience is one to remember. And the walls are covered with local photographic history. And for people who have grown up or live in the area you may just see yourself or a friend or neighbours in one or more of the photos.
