The Farmstand Cafe

I brought my niece who is visiting from down south to the Cafe. What a wonderful time we had. The lattes were out of this world, the sandwiches were amazing, and the potato-cheddar soup was the best I've ever had!

There are lots of local foods and gifts, from Grady's Granola to Frog Hollow Farmstead treats like apple butter, barbecue sauce, and cider caramel. There are pre-made gift bags, cutting boards, the most beautiful wooden bowls and utensils, and local foods like cheese, yogurt, and nut-free butters.

Make the trip. You won't be disappointed!!

The food is incredible. Really good stuff that both myself and wife enjoy (and we have complete opposite tastes). Great stuff for lunch and dinner.

Only negative is that their online presence is a bit tough to navigate. There is their Frog Hollow Farmstead, and the related Farmstand, and it's hard to know where to find what at first. The Farmstand is separate from the Farmstead, at a different location. The Farmstand menu, located on The Farsmtead website, is an older menu. They offer some dinner meals to go but it's unclear which meal is offered this week.

All that said, just try it, and you won't be let down.

First time trying was a success! Amazing breakfast burrito and latte! An amazing addition to the community, a new go to spot!

Stopped in to pick up more of THE best Barbecue sauce and granola for gift baskets.. and some for me. (Also available at Rutland farmer’s market) Had a lively conversation with the owners while they made a delicious eggnog latte to go with a savory scone. Of course I’ll be back! Menu and specials sounded great.

Cozy clean place, offering delicious fresh local food! I love coming here for breakfast with friends! I absolutely love the biscuits, especially good and hearty with the sausage gravy!

Awesome Latte and great service. Looking for a place to sit with a laptop and a hot drink, and this place was perfect. Highly recommend for the great beverage and atmosphere.

Always find something good to eat! Easy to sit and talk with other patrons and owners. I like there is a cafe between Castleton and Fair Haven.
