This place is amazing, it's been in business for more than 20 years, the (I assume) owner is full of passion and isn't here to scalp, make money, wait for a chance to jack prices up. Most hardware and software have a warranty. They take trade in, and everything is priced below market value and about 50% of what is being asked online via eBay and Amazon. Support local because this place deserves to be your first stop for any gaming gear!

I purchased a wii u, and I'll be back time and time again. I was very impressed, and this is my main stop now for retro gaming gear!

Great selection of games, fair prices. If you want games for any system from the 90s to now, definitely check this place out.

I was thinking about when I lived in Bend the other day and how awesome this place was. The parking lot is kind of weird and not that big but there's a bit of nearby street parking to help. Great selection, the couple dozen items I got over the course of a year or so all worked. One time he had a Sega Genesis with full hookups, a 32X and Doom for the 32X as a bundle for 99.99, and sometimes I kick myself for not picking that up, but that's not his fault, it does show how varied the things he manages to get are though

I love this place. It's always nice to see childhood memories. You can find games for NES, Nintendo 64, playstation 1,2,3,4 Xbox one, 360, Gameboy, WII, and so much more. Even went in the other day and bought a PlayStation 2 controller. Also the man that owns it is very knowledgeable about all his systems, and games. Oh and he fixes systems.

Came to Bend on a road trip, found this place when looking for retro-game stores and was not disappointed! Owner was friendly and joking around with customers, answered all my questions in-depth and everything was priced super well! If you’re in the area and looking for some games, great place to stop by!

Awesome place to get games/systems, trade games/systems, and the only place you can get repairs for your gaming systems. The owner Shawn has been in the industry for over 20 years,he has some of the most comprehensive gaming knowledge in the industry!

Been here recently for some N64 stuff. Owner is very knowledgeable and helpful. He can seem a bit curt at first, but he is pretty cool and friendly once you start talking about stuff.

He didn't try to upsell accessories (he easily could have), but gave me the information about them to let me decide for myself. He also will explain why he does or doesn't carry certain products, and shows what he has as an alternative with being pushing about trying to sell the item.

Decent prices, and everything I have gotten that was not new has worked as if new. It is a cool little shop, and people trade in things so I will be stopping by periodically to see what is new.

This was our first time in the store. The man working was friendly and personable.
They have a ton of retro games. Prices were fair. Cheaper than other places I've been to. Definitely a little treasure in Bend.

The man who runs the store cares about what he does and will give the kind of help and assistance that you won't get at big box stores.

Was having problems with my PlayStation and because of where I lived I had to travel 2 1/2 hours I was able to get my machine fixed and to my amazement it was free of charge this is a very rare quality with businesses I was completely satisfied and Will continue to do business in the future. I’m pretty young but I have been growing up with some relatively old consoles like the wii , ds, original Xbox and more and game quest has had what I needed I recently bought a gold ps4 controller there and it looked like it might not work but it works perfect I would definitely recommend coming here

This store is awesome! It is easy to shop and we'll organized! No matter what generation of games you're nostalgic for, you'll find it here (along with some GREAT deals)! The owner is SUPER cool! He knows his games and cleans them all before they hit the shelves to ensure playability (really important with cartridges). I would recommend this store to anyone who lives in/around Bend, or even if you are just passing through! Shops like this are a treasure to the gaming community!

I've been to this store countless times. I'm always looking for a gem that I can't live without. Odds are if I can find it anywhere it'll be here, or online. I've never had a bad experience with the owner. As described in some of the other reviews he's a genuine, down-to-earth kind of guy. I trust no one else to handle my systems for cleaning or maintenance. He has always treated me fairly and I've never once felt cheated.

To those of you who have had a poor experience with him I invite you to try something, show a little respect. The store owner is human and deserves to be treated such. Just because he doesn't tie himself in knots to please the entitlement crowd doesn't mean he's a bad person or a poor business operator. Those who feel cheated by the price he offers when you try to sell him something; take the same merchandise to the local pawn shops and tell me you'll get a better offer.

I love Game Quest and will continue to support this unique local business.

Helped us out in a pinch. Daughter put a debit card in our xbox and it got sucked up. Brought the Xbox in and the owner was able to get it out and clean it for a very reasonable price. Very greatful for his services to us.

What a breath of fresh air! This place is fantastic!! The store is packed with great inventory from the early ages of gaming through the modern stuff. I was looking at the SNES games and their prices were very fair, and the inventory was good. The owner was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful (even helped me pick out a game I hadn't played before). The cat in the store kept my son entertained, and the wall-to-wall nostalgia kept me excited. They cleaned the games for me at checkout and there's a 30 day guarantee, which for 20+ year old games you can't find anywhere. Every time we go in here we get great service and great choices. We have NEVER been treated badly. My son is autistic and the kindness, patience and respect the owner shows my son is beyond awesome. (The resident cat is pretty cool, too.) This is an awesome place to check out and find cool games and stuff so the negativity on here makes me think the truth is elusive to the ones posting nasty notes on here. Great place to buy older consoles and cartridges. I purchased an SNES here that was obviously cleaned and restored. The gentleman even threw in an extra controller in addition to the controller and cables that were already included. I'll definitely come again whenever I'm in town.

Shawn the owner is AMAZING!!! We bought a ps4 from him RIGHT before Christmas. One of the controllers was malfunctioning and he IMMEDIATELY fixed it by giving us a new controller. His game selection is off the chain and he is extremely helpful and knowledgeable in ALL areas. THANK YOU SHAWN WE LOVE YOU!!! SUPPORT LOCAL SMALL BUSINESSES!

My husband and I don't get to go to the store as much as we used to, in its other location, but we've never had ANY issue when we have gone there or bought something there. And in response to the other reviews talking about his cat, well that is ridiculous. She is a cat and as his sign's say she doesn't like to be smothered. That is her home and IF she wants your attention she will let you know. She is a sweetheart that doesn't want or need to be pestered. Oh AND his shop does NOT smell like cat or cat pee. Don't rag on the kitty, if you don't like her, leave her alone and she will do the same for you. So few game stores left and we enjoy when we get to go to Game quest. We like the owner and the store. Don't listen to all the negativity, go to the store yourself and make your own decision. For me and my husband, we will always go back. Thank you!!!
