Outer Bean Cafe Duck

Got the acai bowl and s’mores espresso and both were phenomenal. The Outer Bean cafe is a must stop and I love that they have specialty espressos. The fruit is fresh and so is the organic brew coffee.

The people are lovely! I had the snickers iced latte a few times and the bacon egg and cheese bagel is soooooo good! Highly recommend:)
Update: I tried an iced Reese’s latte today and it was 10/10!

As I checked in at Barrier Island Station last weekend, I noticed that Outer Bean Cafe had now moved in where a tackle place used to be. I was thrilled, because I was hungry and thirsty. The owner was present for my first visit and then a couple wonderful, helpful assistants on my next visit. The coffee and brownies that I chose were just what I needed. They are new in that location- so spread the word and be sure to "Duck in" there when you are on Duck Road and thirsty or hungry for something health and tasty.

Pick up window is right outside the building. Many different things to choose from. I ended up getting the Milky Way coffee drink. Soooo good!

Such a cute and yummy breakfast spot ! Wish I would have known about it sooner on our trip. Breakfast sandwiches are fresh and delicious! Highly recommend the s’mores espresso iced ❤. Service was very warm and welcoming.

Great iced coffee and breakfast sandwich. We got our food and drinks within 5 minutes. Even has a view of the sound across the street.

We came by for smoothies and coffee and were not disappointed! All of the drinks we got were amazing and the service was great. The man working there was super nice as well. 10/10!

The coffee was perfect! Not too strong nor to weak. The Nana loves breakfast sandwich was awesome!! Service personable and friendly!! Will come back and recommend patrons to come and enjoy!

Delicious drinks with great flavor!! The owner took a lot of time and care in making our drinks….LOVED the shaved ice, so yummy. Completely worth making a stop : )

Loved the coffee and avocado toast here! My husband got a cinnamon mocha and I got regular hot coffee. Both were delicious and honestly way better than the other coffee shop in town.

The smoothies are amazing, and the staff was really kind and friendly. Most important the smoothies are all fruit! No added sugar like the others

Delicious smoothies and knowledgeable staff! We had a great experience beginning with sharing our daughters' food allergies with the owner. She accommodated and kept them safe. The smoothies were also delicious. I highly recommend going for a healthy treat and excellent service!

Best smoothie I’ve ever had. I really love this place. I got the “strawberry delight” and I can not recommend it enough! Such a great drink!!

Visited three different days during our stay this week. Coffee is fantastic and I enjoyed both the Hot Latte and Iced Frappuccino. The view of the sound while you wait is amazing! We will be back next year!!!

Best coffee in the obx!

Stopped in for the first time today. Had a bacon, egg and cheese sandwich and a latte. Probably the best breakfast sandwich I've ever had. Period. Plus, it's actually cheaper than McD's.

I appreciate the fact that the staff wears masks and takes the virus situation seriously. They were very busy, but friendly.

Last, this isn't a 'fast food' joint. It took longer to get my stuff than McD's, but it was worth the wait and, hey, I'm on vacation.

Plan on being a regular from now on. Thanks!

Great customer service. Online ordering platform was flawless. I also received an email informing me my food was ready. When we arrived, we picked up our order at a window. The bagels were delicious ! Thank you for being one of the few restaurants in this area that has implemented an easy and safe process during Covid. :)

Tried the lattes- which were great and the açaí bowls which were also delicious for breakfast! Plenty of parking and we were able to get in and out quickly.
