Such a wonderful vibe to the place! Sami is a gentle soul, grateful they let me take photos of such a swanky and fun place! The media is reasonably priced, especially plenty of the classics in stock. I'll definitely be back.

Best record shop in Lex, I only go here to get my music fix. Sami goes out of his way to figure out your music tastes, lays out a couple albums for you to look over, and makes you feel right at home in his store. Go support one of the best local businesses in town!

Always a wonderful experience. Sami is not only a music guru but a rockstar, a wonderful human. If it's on vinyl Sami's got it or can get it.

I’ve been shopping at Sami’s for years now. I feel like a large portion of my collection has come from here. He always has new and up to date selections every time I visit. On top of that he has many classic records and a wide variety of genres. Sami is one of the most personable guys I’ve ever met. He seems to know everyone that comes into the store and has a connection with all of them. He’s also incredibly knowledgeable about all types of music. He is very professional yet personal.
If you are into collecting vinyl/CD’s/cassettes (especially hip-hop related), I suggest taking a visit if you haven’t already. Shopping here feels like visiting a friend

Sami is the best in town. Not like the other money hungry sell outs next door. If you’re a poser go there. If you wanna be like the cool kids go down to Samis.

Great record shop tucked away. They don't always keep regular 9-5 hours it seems, so check ahead of time to see if they're open. The worker behind the counter was super knowledgeable and helpful. Good place to find hidden gems too.

Sami was eager o help me find records. Which was not on his store. After talking about it with him, he found the titles I was looking for and had them in his store for pick up in 3 days. Really saved my butt just in time for Christmas too. Thank you Sami and Merry Christmas!

Sami is absolutely excellent! The music selection is endless. And if Sami does it have what you want--chances are what you want is there--he will find it for you! Sami's shop will keep you coming back for more!

Ive been coming here since around 2000. Good selection of hip hop and other underground genres of music, new and used. Owner is really nice and accommodating as well. If your into vinyl or dj'ing then Sami's is your store.

Sami is a great guy, this place is great for hidden gems and such. I would recommend visiting anytime you get the chance.

I would love to keep this little gem all to myself, but I must not. If you love vintage vinyl or modern, this is a fantastic place to visit and rummage for your favorite tunes. I sure do!

I stopped in here from VA on the way to see family.. I always check out the local stores while traveling like any true digger must, and I happened to stop in Lexington. Sami is the man, friendly guy who really knows his hip hop. I left with around 100 records of mostly underground gems which never happens to me anymore. I'm looking for an excuse to make it back

Unquestionably great local business!! When you walk in it feels like you found a secret spot with all the gems. I find Sami’s warm welcomes akin to visiting your favorite uncle who always hooks you up with something cool. And if you can’t find what you’re looking for, no worries 😉 Sami will do everything in his power to order even the most obscure requests. Stopping by this place is a must! They have unbeatable customer service & an extensive collection of music in all different formats. Sami's is a landmark music establishment in Lexington & definitely worth the trip!
