I really enjoy this place! The space is warm and aesthetically pleasing, from the colors and art to the music playing.

The food is excellent, from the bread to the main course. I order from the Yemeni section, but they have a big variety of Mediterranean food as well.

It comes out quickly, served by a courteous and attentive staff.

This is the best Mediterranean food me and my bf have had. Really just one of the best restaurants on pierson rd. The bread with hummus is so fresh and soft. Best garlic dip we've ever had. Great prices. Amazing staff. Lots of dessert choices. The lamb chops were amazing & cooked to perfection. Everything was just 10/10. Our new fav spot. If you're thinking about trying this place, do it!!

Best Yemen food we ever had ..my friends at the restaurant made it extra special for us.. you guys know how to party and what a family like atmosphere..I have tears in my eyes ..happy tears!! Love it love it love it

It was my our first time going to this restaurant since it changed owners, the food was the best middle Eastern food that we've had ever! Every dish was delicious! Sat and spoke with the owner. He was a delightful man! He even gave us dessert and a spiced tea beverage for each my husband and I. It was a wonderful experience! I would recommend this restaurant a hundred times over!

Was a nice surprise to come across this place. It recently opened, replacing a previous restaurant, which I'm happy about.

I felt a genuine welcome as I was greeted with a smile upon entering the establishment. Looking around inside, I noticed the new decor and touches of elegance.

To begin my cuisine adventure, my lovely server B suggested I try Adeni tea. Oh my, it was a rich, aromatic, slightly sweet, and magical hot drink!

For my main entrée I chose a Yemen favorite - Agadah with chicken - from their extensive menu. It was like a hearty stew, full of flavor! I was blown away by the size of their pita bread that accompanied my choice!

I mixed it up by ordering a Mediterranean Fattoush salad, which is by far my favorite salad - especially from here!

I learned a lot about the Yemen cuisine and culture, particularly in Shibam. The owner of this fine restaurant took me on a tour, pointing out framed photographs displayed on every wall, describing each one from his birthplace in the town Shibam located in Yemen.

Sucha delightful experience. I'll be back!

1st time here and I am so happy I stopped by. My only advice is to put more garlic in the cups. If the garlic cup was close to the top it would have been plenty enough for my bread. I will definitely be back and most definitely buying extra garlic 😋

You can never go wrong when you go to Shibam. The food is great. The service is good. Friendly faces, excellent service. I really enjoy going there with my family. They have a lot of variety of different types of food. Even the kids have food that is accommodating to them.

My wife and I have been here a few times now and we love it! The food is excellent and the service is wonderful. We met the owner on our last visit and he was very nice. Their bread here is some of the best I have had! We have tried a few of their dishes, and have not been disappointed by any of them. My wife loves the Lamb Haneeth! I get the Falafel every time we go and its some of the best I have had.

Can’t get over how good this was! Can’t wait to come back. Fresh flavorful and authentic food. Got the shish combo for 2 and it was amazing. Great portions. Great service too!

My wife & I went for the 1st time and had an extraordinary experience!! The food was amazing! The fahsah & lentil soup was the Best!! Service was very pleasant and courteous. Would Definitely recommend to others and return! Great job!

I ate here with a friend on July 2nd and thoroughly enjoyed the meal. We split an order of hummus with bread & the Mixed Grill for 2. The hummus & bread was just delightful. Perfect texture & taste. So, so good. The Mixed Grill included salad, chicken & beef kebabs, chicken schwarma, kafta (ground lamb), falafel, grape leaves and a pile of rice. The beef was melt in your mouth tender. I would describe the meats as mildly spiced. The grape leaves were well spiced & warm & tasty. I also tried the adeni tea & one other tea. Both were really good. I asked the waiter for a suggestion from the extensive coffee bar & both were really good. Overall, a really great experience. We'll absolutely be back & will be watching for their official grand opening.

The people here are amazing. Excellent service. The bread was addictive and we got around five pieces. They have the best lentil soup. The Yemen Fahsa was spot on with just enough spice. This is a must try for anyone in Flint metro.

Came first week as a party of 7 and had the shibam family tray and some sides. All meats and the signature Yemeni lamb haneeth were juicy and well seasoned. The also bring our fresh baked saaj bread that pairs nicely with their humus and garlic sauce. Service was friendly but a bit scattered understandably with it being the first few days. Price was also quite reasonable. No need to drive an hour down to Dearborn for some good Yemeni food anymore, the flint area has a solid one. I am also looking forward to trying their breakfast!

My girlfriend and I had dinner tonight at Shibam and loved everything we had. "B" was our waitress, amazing, answered all of questions, explained everything to us about the different tea's, spices etc. I will be back and highly recommend.

Shibam Restaurant & Cafe is a very nice place to eat either lunch or dinner. I ordered a Chicken Ghallaba dinner with a salad and their bread with garlic butter - and it was very good! Our waitress was very attentive and friendly..

As we walked in, we noticed all the booths and tables were cloth covered. The decor is simple yet elegant. We were quickly greeted and seated. Our server was friendly. All food we ordered came in good portion sizes and tasted amazing! We frequent eating at Mediterranean cuisine restaurants and feel this will be our new go-to place.

The food and service is excellent to say the least. The food and teas taste authentic. The lamb haneeth is a must-try. Their portions are very generous and the staff is very hospitable and courteous.
