Jot-Em Down Store

In the middle of multiple horse farms this old store has a lot of history! Nothing more than a gathering place to hear and tell stories and buy some cold beer and grab a sandwich but a kool place that will bring you back in time.

Love the roast beef sandwich,old place with plenty of history, and nice folks to chat with.

Just an old mom n pop store on Russell cave rd. They make cold sandwiches eat there or take it with you.

Haven't been there in about 10 years, but we used to love stopping by this little store whenever we came to Lexington. It was smack dabb in the middle of hallowed horse country, off of Iron Works Pike. They had a really old and beautiful picture of Man O' War up on the wall. I tried to buy it several times, but they weren't about to sell it. We would always have a beer or a bottle of coke and talk to the locals. It was just a cool place if you're horse and racing lovers. I hope it's still there because i hope to come back there someday.

Some of the best damn sammiches in town. Drinks are always cold and service is always top notch. Classic old country corner store. Not a place for everybody, but neither is heaven.

I am coming back for another roast beef sandwich in the fall, but this time I am getting two.
