I was looking for a pair of shoes that can help me survive multiple days of walking, and they delivered! The staff was attentive to my goal, provided multiple options, and were very patient as I tried to figure out which was the best fit. Highly recommend and will be back again.

I had an excellent experience at Running Soles two weeks ago. The 1-on-1 service is very helpful and the associates took time with each customer. The shoes cost the same as any other shoe store, but you get the benefit of personalized service. We used the foot machine and realized I needed a wide shoe. I’ve ran over 6 miles in the new pair with zero blisters. (With my last pair of tennis shoes, I had blisters by mile two.) This is a game-change as a beginner runner! The associate gave me a pair of socks and I also bought an extra pair. The socks are their brand and very nice. I’ve told several people about my experience and I’ll be back to buy more socks and gear! (I also joined the FB group and have already found that to be motivating!)

I never throw the shoe box away too soon but... in the hurry of clean up after Christmas I threw away the box to my new Hoka's. Packed them in my suitcase and took to the Biltmore for a trip. Put them on to take the tour. They were obviously too narrow in the toe box and hurt my feet. I returned them this morning and Running Soles allowed me to upsize to a wide!!! I've worn them all day and they feel GREAT!! Great customer service and shopping in E-town is the best!

First of all, family owned and run. Will was phenomenal and full of running shoe knowledge, and an accomplished marathoner. This a beautiful little brick and mortar store with a hipster grass roots type of vibe. They were stocked with nearly every brand and all price points. I bought a $110 pair of Altras for $55. Just visit the store and get fitted. If you have back or lower extremity issues or issues with your feet, go get fitted with some stability or plush cushioned shoes and you’ll get fitted for ever. I walked in and was greeted with great customer service and were eager and enthusiastic to help. If your reading this hope you visit the store and spread the word. Help this store thrive please!!!!!!

Excellent staff and selection. Everyone there took the time to take care of me and buddy Dougie Fresh. Staff was extremely knowledgeable about trail running shoes and allowed me to find the perfect fit. If you're running your first trail race to your 100th ultra this make sure you find the best fit.

I went in to get a pair of running shoes. The owner was very welcoming and the shop assistants very helpful and knowledgeable. The store has a great selection of specialty running shoes. I was able to get the things I needed and as I was checking out they let me know about some local running clubs and invited me to participate. Definitely going back there.

Cool shop. You get the expert advice on shoes, and to date, only shop I been to that has a treadmill to run. Never seen any of those franchised store shoes with that.

German road tested and approved. Thanks for recommendation on Hokas. Probably not endorsement Hoka looking for but I would not recommend any other shoe for any one over 200#.

The gentleman was so nice he had to go back and forth a few times and made sure that I got the right shoe my second purchase and I'm very pleased with my shoes

Moving to the area from Louisville, I needed new running shoes. I found Running Soles to be a very professional courteous staff. Their exchange policy is great as I had to return for a different size. They also have recycling program for your old running shoes as well! I really am pleased. Thanks Running Soles for being here.

So I’ve always been a die hard Nike running shoe type of girl but I cannnootttt find a Nike running shoe that helps with comfort to save MY LIFE. so I decided to come to this shop and the man that helped me WAS SO helpful and really supportive in helping me find the right shoe for my feet. When I tell you my feet felt soooo amazing in these hokas 😱… I definitely am a HOKA type of girl now, thanks to the worker that helped me out today :’). If you are in need of a great running shoe, don’t hesitate to take a chance and come into this store, they will point you to the right direction for your correct type of shoe and size !

This is a very nice store. The workers are very knowledgeable about the types of shoes, neutral, support etc… and even have them separated on the shelves accordingly. You can try them and run on a treadmill to get the feel of them. I have bought a few pairs of running shoes from them and have had a great experience.

My girlfriend and I stopped by for the first time, looking for suggestions on new pairs of running shoes. Robert provided excellent help and made for a very relaxed and informed buying experience! All the staff we interacted with were friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back!

I cannot recommend this place enough. From the moment we walked in Eddie was attentive, friendly, and incredibly helpful. We ended up getting scanned and fitted before he offered us an assortment of shoes tailored to our individual wants & needs with suggestions & advice along the way. We had an extremely pleasant experience and will certainly be back.

Best running store I have ever been to. Great family and always willing to help you get what you need. They actually know their products and only sell ones they truly believe in. This is the place to go. If doctors are telling you not to run, the store owner is a certified Chi running instructor and coach and injury free running expert who can help you accomplish any goal you may have. Go down there and let them make your feet happy again. You won't be disappointed.

They are very friendly and knowledgeable. They have a good selection of shoes for Male and female and have shoes for kids. When I arrived they were not open yet but they let me come in anyway. I would recommend this store for anyone looking for quality products with a very helpful staff. They also carry GPS watches, hydration products and more.
I purchased some Altra lone peak 4.0's. Excellent shoes.

Went on a recommendation. I'm badly out of shape and needed a good pair of shoes due to plantar fasciitis and heel spurs. Was kind of nervous since I'm not a runner. Eddie took care of me. He was so adorable and made me feel special. He took tons of time and found me the perfect shoe. The shoes were even cheaper than Amazon. I will be back. Loved every minute of it.

Great selection of products, unparalleled expertise, fair prices, and a family that actually loves the community they serve, what more could you ask for in a small business. Can you buy less expensive shoes from those teenagers working the shoe department at Academy? Absolutely. Do those teenagers care about your health and well-being, do they care if you PR your next race, do they care if your feet hurt at the end of a 20 mile long run? Absolutely not. Running Soles is more than a family owned shoe store. It's a running community, and it's family.

Great service! Will helped my husband find a great pair of shoes that will help with running long distances. My husband was buying cheap shoes for awhile, he is a serious runner so we decided to upgrade. We visited Running Soles and received excellent service from Will. We will definitely be back!

I was a 30 year runner that has not run/jogged in about 8 years. I needed some help getting back into the game! I’ve primarily dealt with Eddie, but Will and the entire team are amazingly knowledgable and helpful. Even if you have some challenges to overcome, they are willing to help!
