Dr. Elinor A Bunde MD

Dr. Elinor Bunde has moved on from Arkansas and is now in Sioux Falls. At the time of the review, that has not been updated.

The Sanford system continues to show signs of brokenness. I've been searching for a new Doc since Dr. Timothy Donelan moved on to more administrative duties. He was good. Dr. Bunde was a(nother) disappointment.

Ignoring the fact that I came away with a series of "not sures" regarding my condition, my (no insurance) bill jumped from 151.00 to 251.00 for the 45-minute visit. It took some doing (several empty phone calls) to finally get somone to explain the jump in price. Each department wanted to blame another, seemingly in an attempt to frustrate the patient into dropping the matter and just pay.

I was finally referred to a higher level of authority, who explained the increase in billing was due to 1)Treatment and diagnosis discussion and 2) Previous visit and past record research. I was told the billing coding would not be changed. At least I tried. But it sure seemed to me both of those reasons should fall under a regular visit. Especially since I was shown the door with an "I don't know. ... But I could refer you to a specialist."

Dr. Elinor Bunde is not impressive. This review got one star because I was able to see her the day I called. Still drumming up business it would seem after her recent move to Sioux Falls. Avoid her (and Sanford) is my recommendation.
