Veterans Park

Beautiful multi sport park. Softball, football, soccer, etc. Great memorials to our nations veterans as displayed all around the park. Decommissioned weapons, plaques, sculptures, etc. Fields, bleachers and facilities were awesome. Fold down seats with backs behind home plate and bleachers on each side, all of which are covered. Although, for a tournament, someone should be assigned to work scoreboard/ press box. I have been to many, many tournaments, and if they aren't going to provide staffing, they instruct teams that home team should keep scoreboard. And we would have provided that service except that the door was locked to press box. Also, as we were playing our third game on Friday, the timer turned the lights off, so our game was called due to no lights. Simple fix, if your going to play late games, override the timers.
Biggest complaint was the wait at the concession and the cost of items offered. $2.75 for 5 pieces of gum is ridiculous. See attached pictures for pricing of other items. I have served on the board of a softball league and run a concession stand, and this is robbery.
The wait at the concession stand was also ridiculous. I waited 20 minutes for a hot dog. There was one person working the window and he was also having to bring orders out. There was one person cooking and putting orders together. As I said before, I have served on a board and run a concession stand, and for only two people to be working in the concession is completely unacceptable. There were two fields running softball games, and I don't know how many fields running soccer games, concession manning was unacceptable.

I love taking my Siberian Husky here, I can go night or day and it's always so peaceful. People respect the park and others at the park. It's very dog friendly and family friendly. You can go here when you need peace and quiet and that's what i love about it, it's also such a beautiful park and always such a pleasure being here. Thank you to the builders/founders of it.

Lovely park

Great clean, fun place for the whole family.. soccer fields, Walking trails, Ponds, clean restrooms, etc.. This park is centrally located in the city of Rogers has some historic monuments and momentous.
God bless the soldiers who fought, sacrificed, and gave their lives for our freedom! Asking the community to enjoy and appreciate anytime spent
at the park by themselves or with loved ones. If you're in the area you should definitely check it out!

If I could give this place 10 Stars I would I love the upkeep I love how the park looks amazing like a ball fields should good handicap parking love the cosmetic things that they have out there and all the picnic tables and the water really amazing Bentonville needs to take some pointers from this park the only downside was the scoreboard wasn't working or they didn't have an operator but other than that very very awesome place to watch young men and women play their perspective sports

Clean. Bleachers provided for seating. Restrooms aren't gross.

Very good bike paths, shade under trees with benches. Recommend this park for bike riding and picnics.

Peaceful pond with geese. Clean level surface walkways for wheeled accessibility. From strollers, to bicycles, to wheelchairs, to motorized assistance for people to function this park has provided access to everyone.

The public toilets were not quiet available for use yet. It appears the new ones being built will be available near the pond as soon as possible.

A wonderful space to enjoy nature, a picnic, and fresh air.

Beautiful tribute to our Veterans as well!

Nice little city pond, stays stocked with bass, catfish and plenty of perch. Great place to take the kids. There is a walking trail all the way around, a fishing dock, several picnic tables and a covered pavilion.

Great sports fields, my boys have played soccer and football here, there's also baseball fields, and a really nice walking trail. Ponds to fish, and we've had our picnics under the trees. Nice park.

Pretty nice park, shout out to the cop who didn't kick me and friends out while we were sleeping in my car.👍

We were at Veterans Park for a football game where my grand daughters cheered. The park is amazing! Every city should have such a beautiful park. The only concern was that the consession stand was incredibly slow. We stood in line for 15+ minutes to buy water and there were only 5 people ahead of us. Others ordered food & waited an additional 15 minutes for their food to come out. But, the park was very enjoyable.

Filled with sports fields, benches, paths and monuments. It is well taken care of and provides recreation for all.

Had our football practices here every now and again always clean super nice place!

Keep our park cleaner soccer players and their guests!!!! It's an amazing park!!! Built this decade the park brings out the beauty of our area featuring a paved walking trail i have often traversed. While also providing the community with a facility for baseball and soccer.

So me and my compadre Alejandro arrived late to the soccer game at halftime. It was tied at 1-1. By the time I got suited up it was 2-1 we were down. When I entered the field the momentum seemed to swing our way and we got a shot off...goal. It's now 2-2 and as I'm flying down the left flank they passed it to me. I chest trapped it while running full speed and beat the last defender as I'm angling toward the goal. The goalie approached so I used my knee to send it into the right corner. We won this game 3-2. Now I love Veterans Park. Can't wait for next Sunday 🙂

Very peaceful plenty of parking

Fun sports park have had almost every sport here

Nice clean park with a small lake for fishing. Walking trails. About 5 baseball fields with grandstands. Football field and about 6 Soccer fields. Nice place to just get away and piece of mind.

Really nice area and park. Great place for the high school games and for a walk or run. Love having the little pond here as well with the firework show they always do for 4th of July.
