The Hop Diner ( formerly Oasis of Blue Eye)

I like the chicken sandwich with pepper jack, tomato, and BBQ sauce. The fries are excellent. The BBQ sauce is amazing. Customer service is perfect. We enjoy stopping here on our travels from Bentonville to Branson.

They also have gluten free and keto options.

This mom and pop diner is the best of the best. When you go up to the counter and order you will be given a cup to get your drink, choose your table, play some songs on the jukebox and wait for one of the staff to bring you fresh made, hot food. Fill your cup as much as you want and enjoy! The staff is very friendly and willing to help out how ever they can. The food is spot on, fresh made to order. The tenderloin sandwich is huge and perfectly cooked. The chicken philly is another favorite. When in the area take a ride out highway 86 and enjoy the atmosphere.

The food and service was awesome. I had cheesesteak. It was amazing it was so juicy but not at all greasy. My husband had a double cheeseburger. The cheese on it was so flavorful. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be making the trip from Branson to blue eye more often.

My brother and I stopped in after a good days work, the owners and staff are amazing and the food was very tasty! There is nothing like eating in a comfortable and friendly environment. My brother had the chicken and waffles, and I had the philly. The older couple behind us were great to talk with, and they even gave us each a chicken wing. We will definitely return for another meal!

Update: They've changed their name to The Hop. I had a cheese burger and thought it was wonderful. Definitely the best burgers in town ;)!

They made a scrumptious Buffalo Chicken Pizza. Always good customer service. Pizza's are good, burgers are better. We've been here many times and always enjoy it.

It's a yesteryear diner vibe. The menu is a nice size and the food they make is pretty dang good. I've had their burgers and wings before as well as a pizza or two. Worth the price and the drive.

Great burgers & wraps. Fast and friendly service. Love the old time jute box with lots old time tunes.

Our family discovered The Hop Diner, in Blue Eye while visiting Top of the Rock and we are so glad that we did.

It is a MUST STOP when you find yourself anywhere near there.

Owners Lindsey and her husband are the nicest people and really know how to make each customer feel like a valued guest, by providing a wonderful experience in the service and food that they provide.

Just remember to leave room after eating for ice cream 🍧 - its fabulous too. 😍

The Philly is great. The Onion rings are fresh and crispy. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. We will definitely be going back.

A wonderful family who runs the Hop. Food is excellent, service is quick and the staff is always kind. Have dined in, and placed to go orders and the food was great each time. Definitely recommend if you’re in the mood for a delicious burger or pizza!

Excellent food fun atmosphere and friendly staff. I had the personal pizza and my husband had the pork tenderloin sandwich. The meat patty was way bigger than the bun. Pizza was so good!! Worth the trip here. We will be back - so many more food options to try and they had about 16 different flavors of soft serve, shakes, and malts. YUM!

Ordered a Philly cheese for the wife and a bacon cheeseburger for myself. We had onion rings and sweet potato fries. Everything was prepared right and tasted excellent. Good variety on menu including pizza. They deliver on Fri and Saturday in the area. Car shows on weekends when the weather is right. Great little place run by a local family. They take pride in their food and you can taste it. Don't forget to grab a malt!

Been coming here for a few years over it's several itterations. WHile always good, this is my favorite. Excellent food, very friendly staff, efficient. If in or near Blue Eye, take a minute and grab some great food!

The new ownership really knows what they are doing. Food is fantastic and service is incredible. Here is how my situation played out and why I'm leaving a review.

-There were 4 of us and we ordered during a lunch rush. 3 of us got our food at the same time, my mom didn't receive her meal.

-The waitress noticed the issue, and acknowledged that her meal wasn't there but would bring it out shortly.

-2 minutes later the owner came out and personally delivered her meal, he apologized for the delay, he was very kind and offered an ice cream or a shake for the hassle.

-as we were leaving the owner approached once again to apologize and this time offered a gift card and said that "next time, lunch is on him"

-We aren't the kind of people to be really bothered by a 2 minute delay, I know that some people would think it's the end of the world. But here was our take away and quite frankly the main reason that this business will be very successful. (If you make a mistake, acknowledge it and apologize. The owner did this. Make the customer happy. He did this as well. And offer to fix the mistake. He did this as well...twice.)

We didn't take the card because we don't think a 2 minute delay affected the experience. The flavor of the food and the friendly atmosphere is what is will be remembered about our experience.

Very high praise to the owner and the staff for being a breath of fresh air. Best of luck, and thank you!

Friendly service and great burgers with quick service. We eat under the outdoor pavilion and weather was perfect. The waitress brought our food out along with condiments and napkins. I will definitely eat there again.

Clean, friendly, fast service, and their burgers are delicious!
