Great hidden gem coffee and ice cream shop! Loved the flavors they had. You can try a small taste of any flavor they have before committing to a whole scoop, but if you still can't decide, you can get an ice cream flight of 6 small cups of different flavors. Highly recommend this place if you're in the area and looking for a sweet treat.

Stopped in with my in-laws and the pineapple strawberry sorbet was so delicious! Especially after spending the afternoon swimming around in the lake. The staff was nice and I really liked their swings.

This is our most favorite ice cream shop! Everything is always fresh. They have new flavors of ice cream every day. The coffee is good and the atmosphere is our favorite. It's so fun but yet relaxing. My girls 5 & 7 love it and we go every year while on vacation.

It was wonderful! I decided on the ice cream flight. That includes 6 picks of their rotating 50 flavors. Mississippi mud, pistachio, lemon zest, pretzel and brown sugar, smores, and orange creamsicle. (They gave me key lime pie to try.)

Lots of interesting custom flavors. They had about a dozen but a sign said they've had 50 over the years so constantly changing.

Also draft root beer and floats.

The even had a 5 cup "flight" odf ice cream for the undecided.

My fiancé and I drive an hour just to stop by and have their artisan ice cream! The people behind the counter are always friendly and are generous with their scoops and samples. We enjoy trying their unique flavors of ice cream that you won't find anywhere else. If you are in the Kimberling City area, this place is a MUST for dessert!

Great place to get ice cream while visiting TRL! Variety of flavors and always a friendly staff to take your order. Nice atmosphere inside or out. Look forward to visiting again next spring and summer! Thank you Funky Twig!

Delicious ice cream and so many fun flavors (like fried corn, one of my favs) - it’s always hard to choose. We always stop by when we’re passing through!

Also they have an ice cream cart to rent for events that is just the cutest!!

The coffee was great and the ice cream was the highlight! The homemade muffins were also on point! Nice setting to kick back and relax!

In our ongoing quest for the best ice cream shop in the Branson area, we visited The Funky Twig last night.

Specializing in artisan ice cream flavors, made in small batches, The Funky Twig has some of the best, most unique ice cream in the area.
If you are like me, and can never pick which flavor you want, then you can't go wrong with the "Funky Flight" (pictured) - a sampling of six flavors you choose. Of course I had to try it, and you can see the beautiful ice cream in my photo 🙂
I enjoyed: Malted Milk Ball (not the right name), Key Lime Pie, S'mores, double vanilla, Roasted Corn, and Maple Bourbon Bacon.
I loved them all, but I especially liked the toasted buttery sweetness of the roasted corn, and the salty-sweet Maple Bourbon Bacon. Even if your tastes aren't as exotic, you are sure to find plenty of other flavors to enjoy. My daughter particularly loved the Blueberry Sorbet.
With so many great ice cream places around, it's hard to choose a favorite, but I think The Funky Twig deserves a place at the top of anyone's list!

Well, I've never had fried corn ice cream before today. Amazing! This is a funky, cool ice cream shop with unique, homemade flavors and plenty of seating. The shop was clean and inviting. The flavors rotate, so if you can't get the fried corn scoop on your first visit you'll have to keep returning. Well worth a stop or even a short drive from Table Rock.

They have really good ice cream. Really delicious unusual flavors, and some that are less crazed as well. The orange blue circle is to die for. The store pays are outstanding. Lots of actual fresh fruit in them! Other favorites are salted caramel, freckled mouth, enable cinnamon.

My only gripe is some of the things with pieces in them have chunks that are too large, like the blackberry cobbler. I prefer smaller rather than gigantic chunks of things in ice cream.

They offer a little sample cone for dogs, but it's just put cream in a tiny cone and they charge a dollar for it. Personally, I would not bother with that. I just let my dog look out my cup as long as there's no chocolate in it.

Been back numerous times and really enjoy it.

This little hidden treasure was an amazing find. Artisan ice cream flavors you don't find every day. Staff is friendly and it has indoor and outdoor tables. We will definitely be back.

The Funky Twig is a fun place to visit for ice cream and coffee. Go often and consider getting an ice cream flight to try 6 flavors at a time on your visit. The flights are perfect for two to share. The Funky Twig keeps the flavors rotating so if you find something you love, go often to enjoy it as the flavors change. But wait, there is more than just scoops of ice cream, be sure to try the coffee and other ice cream based desserts! This is the place if you love ice cream!

I came here with my whole extended family from all over the states. This little shop thats been open for such a short period of time is by far one of the best ice cream shops I’ve ever been to from all my travels. The ambience is incredible and has a very positive family atmosphere. I highly recommend coming and supporting this little shop and would definitely come again!

Such a cute place for all to enjoy. Yummy coffee with a variety of different tastes. Many ice cream flavors to choose from, and have to be honest one of the top once i had 😋 Place is authentic and holds up the name ‘Funky’ lots of space to hang out play some games and just enjoy the company. Staff is friendly and helpful, we were down this way for vacation back in August and made a stop couple times while down there. If ever back, most definitely stopping by and getting ourselves a treat…

Ice cream flavors change frequently. Everything I've tried was great. It's a must visit destination when we're I. Town visiting.

Everything here is excellent. The ice cream is fantastic! They have unique flavors and still have some thing for everyone. The muffins are so good. The coffee is wonderful.
