Workman's Travel Center

This stop is awesome has everything you need and is decorated nicely. I love that they are in the holiday spirit. Prices are a little up there but they do have everything you would need. From drinks and snacks to miscellaneous gifts

Well.... first time here and all I can say is good comments.... people are so nice friendly and courteous.... the restaurant offers goods plates 🍽 👌 🙌 the store is full with good snacks salads 🥗 😋 and more... the showers is really nice and even 10000 better than the dirty loves... price is 12.00 dlls. parking lot is not enough bigger and in front of the fuel island is parking reserved....the rest is free and even some spots for bobtail.... plus the travel center is in a good location cause just cross street is a store like Walmart to buy anything u need... I highly recommend you this travel center even for reset..like I'm doing now... so if u planning to come here...u must arrive before even 2 pm...in other ways no any spots available....

I've driven Trucks over 50 years and the Workman Travel Plazas are Top Notch. This is the way Truck Stops should be. Very friendly staff and Great food in the restaurant. Also super clean. Many years ago a lot of the old Truck stops sold out or merged with big corporations and went downhill from there. The Workman family is on top of the travel center business. Wish they had more, but happy with the 3 they have.. Great Job Guys!!!

Cool place to stop with a full 24 hour diner and plenty of food and drink options. The bathrooms have a cool esthetic with the black urinals. There are lots of cool little trinkets to look at. There are even Tesla charging stations.

Neat little stop. Homemade potato chips, massive beer cooler, restaurant with many eclectic snacks, ample seating, and an area for live music. I got the three piece catfish dinner with fried cabbage and black eyed peas. Aside from needing a few shakes of salt, it was excellently prepared, cabbage was especially well done. Service is friendly, and the entire establishment seemed fresh, clean, and inviting.

This is my first time at workmans truck stop and I wish all truck stops was as friendly and clean as this place is most definitely a 10 star place and I will be back again.....
To the owner of workmans you really need to go all over the USA its been a real enjoyable experience.

This is a really nice place. It's got a restaurant, showers & fully stocked with all sorts of goods. Tractor trailer parking is small, so get here early, and don't do what I did and drive your big rig through the car entrance off Monroe Ave. When you get off I-49 go past the Kum & Go and make a right on N Good Springs Rd. Then make the very next right: that's the truck entrance.

It’s been awhile since I’ve visited there. Had Thanksgiving dinner there a few years ago - one of very few places open in the area for the holiday. We didn’t want to cook for just 2, so we ate there. I’ve also used their meeting room for Saturday morning men’s Bible study and breakfast. Great staff and Service throughout the complex. Thumbs up!

these days it's hard to find a good truck stop for place to rest, shower and grab a warm meal but this place has the winning combination. Great service friendly staff. Food was great. Restaurant Open 24hrs. Down side truck parking lot is small but a great place to stop nonetheless. The shower was clean and so were the restrooms dinning area as well very clean. Added to my favorites list. keep up the great work Workman's we need more truck stop like this. Definitely beats the pilot down the road. Hands down and with a smile..

I pulled in with a flat tire as it started to rain. I asked the ladies inside if it would be alright if I blocked one of the pumps for an hour so that when roadside assistance arrived he wouldn't have to change my tire in the rain, and they were so friendly and accommodating! Good people work here!

Ribs are great! Stop anytime I get a chance! Had an omelette for dinner. Got the ribs to go. This will feed me for at least 3 days. Sunday night, short staffed. They were awesome. My granddaughter got to play this piano last year.

If there was room for 10 stars this place would get them all. It is a true "full-service" truckstop for the OTR trucker. The only down-side is that their facility could easily support 2-3x the parking spaces -- and I did notice there was a problem over the weekend with locals leaving empty trucks (in the mostly free spaces) while they went home. I would urge Workman's to get a handle on this so they don't have to resort to the classic paid parking.
But aside from that, the staff was friendly to a fault, helping me find some local medical assistance and getting in touch with a local Uber driver to get me there.
They have a scale, nice large modern showers, laundry, strong reliable wifi, a 24 hr sit-down restaurant with a small but good menu, and several other good no-name fast-food options (burrito bar, hot chicken tenders, catfish, okra, etc), and live entertainment (as China allows!).
They have a beer cave, but be prepared for it to be closed on "the Lord's Day". I can only guess this region had a problem with religious people showing up to church drunk?? I'm glad the rest of us can show them it's OK to abstain on one day of the week!

Great truck stop. Nice restaurant with good food. Clean. If you're headed down 49 workman's is a great stop

Great truck stop and believe me I’ve been to many. Very clean and the food is yummy. Was a nice quiet stay for a couple very tired truck drivers. Even love the fact that they are a Christian establishment and love the Christmas music they play as well 😀 they even have a cross in the logo ☺ as my man puts it...”this place is freaking awesome!”

The best Sizzling Shrimp scampi I've ever had, paired with the fresh salad and fresh vegetable medley of green beans, yellow squash, carrots and sweet red pepper, this was truly an unexpected meal to find at a truck stop, or anywhere for that matter. Just a delectable meal. I'm so glad I got waylaid here. The bathrooms are clean, the staff is really nice and I got some nice mirror-hangers at the gift shop.

Nice clean facilities, friendly service! Visited and ate at the restaurant here while we charged our Tesla. I like to support businesses that host superchargers.

Best Catfish in AK....Employees are super nice, especially the lady from Vegas! :)) Clean bathrooms & about 25 truck spaces... it is a pain to get into but well worth it! ~Ms. SoLo~

Fantastic place to stop anytime! Open 24 hours. I had a fantastic late night breakfast!!! I definitely recommend!!!

Wow the front ladies are super sweet & welcoming. I arrive at night at take a quick nap then back in morning to brush teeth, everytime Im in and out many times & they never missed saying hi to me. Super safe, peaceful & Super clean!!!!! 🎈🎈🎈 Wonderful place!!
