A Plus Auto Repair

My husband Bob and I was on a return trip from Ohio going home to Arizona when Our van had a check engine light came on. The car started hesitating on the interstate. We pulled off on the interstate exist at Alma, Arkansas. My husband looked up on Google and found a mechanic near where we were in the town of Alma, Ar. , A Plus Auto Repair was one of them. It was late in the afternoon and near closing time. The owner was in office. Suede was kind and curtious, and said he could help us. He ran a diagnostic and found out there was an issue with the fuel injectors. We agreed to fix the issue. Suede then proceeded to fix the issue. He found that we had fuel injectors had gone bad. The wait was about a couple of hours. Due to the time that we had arrived at his service location he stayed past closing time to finish the job he had started. He was trying his best to get his customer back on the road to Arizona. He was able to get the parts that was needed in a quick and timely manner. He answered any questions that we had and told us to call him if anything happened. When it came to the bill, the cost was very reasonable. He was happy to accept cash as payment. GREAT SERVICE! My son and I were traveling through Alma, Arkansas heading back to Georgia when the transmission died in our vehicle. Suede was contacted by our insurance company and he came and told our vehicle back to his shop. He let us know what was going on with the vehicle and what it would take for it to be repaired. Even though we ended up spending three days in Alma, they was professional, kind, and very considerate of our circumstances. Once we were back on the road we were able to make it home safely. I just wanted to say thank you so much for the time that you put into making sure that our vehicle was safe and we were back on the road! 5 STARS!!!

Suede and Dakota are friendly. They got my truck in and out in a day. They went above and beyond to get me taken care of. Kept me updated on issues they ran across while working on my vehicle. 5 stars is not enough at all! Definitely have my business in the future.

My wife and I were driving through AR when my exhaust started falling off. It was Labor Day and none of the shops were picking up the phone. One of the guys at A Plus saw my missed call and, even though they were closed, he called me back in case I was a motorist with a problem. I was told to head straight over.

The guys were friendly and helpful. They got under my car, diagnosed a couple of broken welds, and then disconnected and removed my rear muffler so we could finish our trip without it pulling the rest of the exhaust down. They even wrapped it in plastic to protect my interior, and they explained which welds would need fixing when I have someone reconnect the rear muffler back home.

Nissan had previously quoted me $2400 after saying the rattle in the exhaust could only be fixed by a full replacement. When I got back home, I had a muffler shop look at the weld points I'd been shown and they fixed it for $112, good as new. I’m so glad A Plus called me back.

It’s really scary to have your car break down while out of town. Thankfully, the owner of this shop was extremely helpful in taking care of us. He correctly diagnosed our car’s problem and helped coordinate getting it to our shop closer to where we live. He worked hard to do everything he could for us and was very professional.
