DeGray Lake Cottages

These cottages have such a great view. We’ve been back several times because of the great service the owner, Mr. Dale Allen, offers. He always makes my family and I feel super welcomed. The cabins are cozy, well-equipped and wonderful. It’s a great place to stay with friends and family.

Five+ stars!! This was a fantastic little weekend getaway place. The prices were reasonable, the owner very friendly and our cottage was clean and extremely well equipped w any anticipated need, i.e. fans in the bedrooms, wifi, and the kitchen about as well stocked as mine at home!! In the mornings I sat in the living room (it was winter and cold outside or I would've been on the porch) and heard little birds chirping and singing in the yard. I love the screened porches too. Perfect place, and we WILL be back!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

I can't say enough good things about this place and the owner, Dale. He takes such good care of the grounds and cottages, he is attentive to any needs his residents might have. It is family friendly, pet friendly, and just friendly in general! It is peaceful and has beautiful views.

Would give it 6 stars if I could. Nice clean cabins, wifi, kitchen fully stocked with everything you need except food. Comfortable beds and reasonable rates.

Looking for a place to stop and enjoy the outdoors on a cross country trip to the East Coast and booked here based on reviews. The host is so kind and provided floats, beach towels and chairs to enjoy two days at the lake during our stay. Such a great experience we are booked to stay a couple more days on the return drive home. Just a very relaxing, lovely experience — and very dog friendly!

A great place to stay with very wonderful host. Great location next to state park that has golf, horse back fishing and hiking trails. Each cottage has a screen front porch and it’s own grill. Thirty minute drive to Hot Springs. Just a very great place to stay.

We went to stay for a baby shower. The room was perfect and clean. Everything you could possibly want for your kitchen was there. Mr. Dale was absolutely wonderful! All you had to do is ask. We will be going back!

Dale was an amazing host! My Son and I wanted to spend a couple of days on a fishing trip before he moved out of state and the Cottages were the perfect destination. The Cabins were immaculate and were stocked with everything you would need. even coffee! We loved the screened in porch! The parking lot was set up great to be able to pull our boat and had easy access to power to charge our batteries. I will be headed back again soon!

Enjoyed staying there so much. Great location, close to State Park and also Hot Springs. Wonderful open area with picnic tables and view of golf course. Plan to stay there again.

This place is highly recommended. We had a great time at this place. The owner Dale is such a good host ,very kind and generous. The rooms are clean and well kept. The location is easy to find and close to the lake. The view from the cabins is amazingly calm and refreshing. They have a perfect place for bonfire for family to gather and have fun. We stayed there August of last year for our church annual baptism and we are coming back to do it again this year. Looking forward to have a great time in this place!

Such a peaceful place. Fully stocked cottages with WiFi, screened porches, beautiful common area to visit, picnic, or eat outside. Faces golf course where deer abound and just around the corner from riding stables, Visitor's Center, lodge, and lake. Mr. Allen is a gracious and welcoming host that has everything you need to be right at home and enjoy your stay. Had a great time.

We stay here every year for our family vacation. The staff is amazing, rooms are clean, grounds are kept very meticulously and the prices are perfect. We always have a fabulous time while here.

Dale, the owner, is a very kind and generous person. He went above and beyond to make our stay great! The cottages are cozy with all you need to cook inside or out! There are charcoal grills and a gas grill under a pavilion so we were able to grill in the rain. The location has a beautiful view. Along with the advantage of getting out of the hustle and bustle, there is cable and wifi. The cottages are inexpensive and I see us coming here for years to come!

We had a wonderful weekend away staying here. Everything was so clean and the cottages were so close to the beaches and walking trails. Our dog Dexter loved having the screened in porch and the fenced in yard was an added bonus for me to feel safer if he managed to get off his leash he wouldn’t be able to just run out into the road. Mr. Allen the owner is one of the nicest people I’ve ever met. They literally have everything you need to have a wonderful vacation. Will be coming back very soon!

This was our first time to the DeGray Lake golf course. Really pretty and clean. Came during the week not many playing. Nice layout of the greens. I would definitely recommend coming here. There are other things to do here too. Here are some pictures of the golf course.

My stay at DeGray Lake Cottages was amazing!!! The amenities provided everything I wanted and needed for my family and I . Mr. Dale is a wonderful person and was very accommodating. I am glad we found this place. It reminds me of the kind of vacation my parents would have taken me on I’m glad to be able to share it with my kids. The location is perfect not too busy. It is seconds from the State Park entrance. The cottages are in great hands, the owner clearly loves what he is doing here and takes pride in maintaining them. You literally only need food EVERYTHING else is here. I highly recommend staying to anyone. I’m looking forward to our next family trip here already!

We rented to cottages for the weekend. Fully furnished kitchen just add your groceries and your set. Very clean and well kept little spot. Close to the lake and golf course. The owner was super friendly and helpful. I just loved the quiet peaceful atmosphere.
